Just not what I expected.

I had been referred by lots of people to this law firm during such a difficult time in my life,, I became ill in 2018 and I was no longer able to work I fought countless claims trying to obtain disability and was denied,, it gets so overwhelming when your trying to fight health issues only to know it’s not gonna get better but worse. When I was denied a second time enough was enough,, I had picked up my phone to reach out to them,, everyone was so nice and professional and explained what they can do to help me,, everyone was straight forward and honest,, I look forward to them working with me and I highly recommended this place they have such great values and very professional. I was not paid in such way or any form to post this review this was solely based on my honest opinion.

I contacted Miss Whittens office for my SSI claim. She took me on as a client, and my case went all the way to a judge. The week prior was the first time I ever spoke to Miss Whitten and all she said was "think about what you are going to say". The hearing came around and due to covid it was over the phone. Miss Whitten spoke maybe ten words on my behalf. About 3 weeks later the findings came out and there were atleast a dozen discrepancies in them. I tried to call Miss Whitten multiple times with ZERO return calls. Finally a lady took my call and informed me that Miss Whitten was no longer my attorney. I then had to jump through hoops to figure out the next step in the process (appeals board) but I ran out of time because Miss Whitten failed to inform the SSA that she was no longer my attorney. Thank You Miss Whitten, ZERO STARS! Now I will have to start the process over again. Dennis

Accurate, polite, businesslike but in a casual manner. Highly recommend.

Not only did she lie on everything, from much diagnoses dates, changing it from 2018 from 2008. She used none of the information from my Psychiatrist, who is my diagnosing doctor. Nor my hospital records, including on suicide attempts (the ER nurse did not believe me because “I had no marks”,) this was because I stopped and told my family. She did not at all right for disability for me because I am “intelligent and well spoken. But the biggest thing was changing all the dates on my medical records.

Mrs. Whitten is awesome. She offered great advice that made things so manageable, when my mom became I'll. I am so grateful that I listened to her advance.
