I recently sold property through the Greg Harrelson Group. I was asked who I would like to use for the closing, and I asked for a recommendation. What a pleasant experience it was to work with their recommendation - Scott Umstead!! I elected not to be present for the closing, so all information was forwarded by Shellie Mire, one of the most efficient paralegals I have ever had the pleasure to work with. The documentation arrived in a timely manner, and the signing process was preceded by "color coded" directions which proved to be invaluable. I enjoyed a level of professionalism that is rare in today's environment. Although I was not able to meet Scott, I am certain that he mirrors those with whom he works, and he has developed a great staff! If ever asked, I now have a recommendation for the Myrtle Beach area!!

I recently purchased a home in the Myrtle Beach area and used the services of Scott Umstead as a settlement firm. Our home purchase had several unexpected issues to work through, each issue was quickly worked through by Mr Umsteads office. When we had difficulty with our Sellers meeting deadlines Mr. Umstead was quick to contact me and, after our discussion, within an hour he had drafted a letter which quickly achieved the desired result. I found Mr. Umstead to be quick, decisive and result oriented. Living 8 hours away from the Myrtle Beach area, communication was important to me. Kim, who managed our transaction at Mr. Umsteads office, always responded within a short period to my daily questions, never once did she become annoyed with my persistence. I always found Kim to be knowledgeable and on top of my transaction. My family also owns another home in the area and we will now use this firm to handle any future legal needs. I can say without hesitation, if you are local or at a distance, you will be in great hands with this firm.

I sold my property in North Myrtle Beach an ran into some unexpected problems with a third party.
