I was charged with a DUI in Greeville County SC in November of 2018. After reviewing many options I hired The Brough Law Firm. Chris and his staff, Kirby & Cathy were outstanding in communicating with me prior to my date in court. Never did I call and not get an answer. This is so important in an attorney / client relationship. I highly recommend Chris, Cathy & Kirby for anyone needing legal assistance. My case was dismissed and expunged thanks to Chris's knowledge of the law and negotiations with the Prosecutor prior to my trial. I was innocent, but could easily been found otherwise had I not hired the "right" attorney.

They will do their best for you and go out on a limb even if you have a tough case. It’s the place to go where your money is spent well “win” or “lose” they are all in and watch how they spend your money. Rachel Brough is amazing and a no B.S lawyer. She really worked hard for us and we appreciated everything about the firm.

Good service if you can afford it. Most expensive in town.

Overpriced for services rendered. Renigged on promises made. They were told very specific details of a GAL and her unethical behavior upon my retaining them and asked upfront if they were willing to go after the GAL on such issues. They agreed and took my retainer. Part of the way through the court case they changed lawyers representing the case and the new lawyer when asked said that they personally never agreed to such a thing. .....wow.

Rachel and her team are absolutely wonderful. Through a very complex custody case and across multiple state lines, I was always kept informed immediately of any information or changes. Rachel gave very sound legal advice and was very upfront from day one on the different possible outcomes. Lack of communication and an extreme lack of representation are two of their biggest downfalls on a lengthy list of problems. Do not be deceived by this firm's claim to provide quality family legal services. Ruth Cate Law Firm has not only wasted my time and energy, but also my money. Despite several attempts to resolve issues with the attorney I'd retained here, nothing changed. I felt as if I was fighting a battle on two fronts, one with this law office and the other with my legal matter. Ruth Cate Law Firm has added insult to injury and compounded my stress exponentially during one of the worst times of my life, therefore, I am no longer a client.

Absolutely terrible experience. I spoke with many lawyers during my search for representation but Ruth Cate was the worst and most expensive by far. It would have been a better use of my money to sit in the parking lot and light $20's on fire. She was rude, snide, and dismissive. She didnt even pretend to listen during the absurdly priced consultation. I wondered if she actually had clients at all or if the whole place was just an elaborate scam. I don't know if it was an abundance of arrogance or idiocy or maybe it's just that she really is as terrible a human as she comes across, but the smartest decision I made was NOT hiring this firm to represent me.
