The FBI unexpectedly appeared at my door, which was very frightening. I had no idea why they were there or if I was in any trouble. However, it turned out that my name and one of my financial accounts had surfaced in an FBI investigation. Another attorney, who didn't practice federally, referred me to Larry. As soon as I contacted him, Larry took charge of the situation. He happened to know one of the agents and was able to buy me more time to respond. I never had to meet with the agents myself. I gave Larry the authority to handle everything, and after several months, he was able to negotiate a serious federal matter down to a warning instead of an arrest.
