So here's the deal. Even as an attorney, I was once guilty of judging an attorney and their firm by their client. I made this mistake once, and it was with Steven Girsky and his paralegal Rebecca Keller. I had yet to meet them but I was not fond of the idea of them because I didn't like their client (the opposing party in my case). But, here's the deal. I was wrong. So wrong. I'm sure I called that office 20 times in one week, making demands about things I wanted their client to do or stop doing on behalf of my client. And guess what? I always got a response. After a few weeks, I walked into the office, figurative guns loaded about something their client had allegedly done and was met with smiles. I was treated with kindness and respect. I was not an attorney who normally practiced in their county. They had never heard of me. I was just some stranger with a bar card. Because that the case was such a long, drawn out mess, I had the pleasure of getting to Steven Girsky and Rebecca Keller, and many others who work in the firm. I was never met with anything but graciousness when they owned me only basic propriety. If that doesn't say everything you need to know about the character of Steven Girsky, his paralegal, and everyone else in that firm, then you need to read this again. I discovered Steven Girsky to be an attorney of integrity, who fiercely advocates for his clients. And obviously, everyone in that office was wiser than I, because they didn't seem to have made any judgements about me based on their impression of my client. That was several years ago and I have had several cases with Girsky since then. In fact, if a potential client calls me and announces that the other party has retained Girsky, I jump at the chance to take the case. Why? Well, he may be a badass lawyer and a seriously tough adversary in Court, but I know that his firm will always treat me and my client with respect and always, always offer professional courtesies when they can. This is everything. I am a family law attorney. In my opinion, nobody ever wins a divorce and there is never a win when it comes to splitting up time with your children. But, I have to say, when anyone asks me for a recommendation in Montgomery County, Steven Girsky is the only name I give. Why? Because who I send someone to also reflects upon me. And I know that if I send a person to Steven Girsky, I am sending them to the best. As opposing counsel, I can expect Girsky to make my job HARD. Because, no matter how much he may like his opposing counsel, I have never known him to let that get in the way of being an unwavering advocate for his clients. So, when someone I recommended to Girsky mentioned some questionable reviews, I had to see for myself. I can't speak for unhappy opposing parties or anyone else on the internet. I can only speak to my own experience and to the entire community of Montgomery County attorneys, none of which have ever had an unkind word to say about Steven Girsky or anyone who works for him, despite some of them having "lost" to him in Court. Finally, if you take nothing else from this review, take this with you: If I needed an attorney, he'd be my only call.

My lawyer and I didn't have the best start at first but he has since worked with me to understand what I need better and is helping me with my divorce.

Steve Girsky served as Estate Attorney for my family, he and his firm were professional, timely and very conscientious while dealing with a host of difficult family matters. I give Steve and his Law Office the highest recommendation, he is honest and fair.

I cannot believe a lawyer's office would allow someone so rude to answer business calls. She said her name was Ashley and from the beginning of the call came across as extremely unprofessional and impolite. DO NOT call this office unless you want to be berated!

Steve was a warrior! Steve was so professional and knowledgeable. His entire staff was amazing, they lead me through the darkness into light. They all are so calm and yet fought like warriors for me. This team is tenacious while still remaining ethical. I am blessed to always have him in my corner!

After a very complicated divorce in another state, I hired Mr. Girsky to alter our parenting plan and could not have been more satisfied with the services provided. We had emergency situations, mediation, and a court hearing that were extremely difficult for me. Even the Judge was not certain that the mess of a parenting plan was legally enforceable. Mr. Girsky is extremely knowledgeable and fast on his feet. We will absolutely use him and recommend his office to anyone in an unfortunate situation that requires legal assistance.

I have utilized their services off and on for over the last five years, they have always exceeded my expectations. Anytime I need them they’re always available to help quickly and with a high level of professionalism. Rebecca is no nonsense, and straight to the point and I appreciate that! She tells it like it is and will help guide you through any difficult situation that arises. She explains everything in great detail and makes every process smooth. I will continue to use them without a doubt in the future if need be! I hired Steven Girsky to help me navigate through a very tough divorce and custody case, without him and his team I would have never been able to make it through the toughest months of my life. I hired Steve Girsky for a family custody case back in February 2017, hiring him was the best decision I could have made. From the beginning he was very open, honest & professional about the process and all that would take place. His team worked extremely hard and made myself as well as my family feel confident do to the circumstances. Last year my daughter's father got in a car accident with my 7 year old daughter in the back seat . He fled the scene after the car flipped and crashed. Drugs were found in his car as well as other illegal items while driving on a revoked drivers license. During my consultation with Steve he told me if your child’s father was fleeing from the scene of an accident and left your daughter with injuries, that indeed was no accident. On that day I hired him and nothing but consistency, and hard work. Anything I needed from questions, to paperwork he was always prepared. His paralegal Becky was awesome, she kept me updated with our case throughout the entire process and was very responsive to emails and phone calls. His whole team was very supportive and worked together for a successful outcome. Not only was I awarded full custody of my daughter but when I️ explained to Mr. Girsky my husband had orders to relocate out of state I was worried that our case was to intense and I would not be able to relocate with my family as a whole. Steve and his team made it happen that happen as well. They helped me keep my family together. The whole process was so intense and at times felt hopeless. Steve handled it all, he fought for my family like no other. He always asked for my feedback, before proceeding with anything. I am beyond grateful to Mr. Girsky and his representation of my case.
