I worked with Mr. Pittman and his assistant. They were both very helpful with our case and quick to respond.

Theresa Schimmels took my $3,500 retainer fee and made deals with the opposing attorney, costing me parenting time with my children. In order for me to see my kids, I have to take leave from the Army and travel out of state. Anyone who knows anything about the military knows this is not easy task, let alone a thing that can happen regularly. However, I was told, "I can see my kids whenever I want." They clearly did not understand the gravity of the decision that was made when they signed off on the parenting plan without consulting me. Highly recommend looking elsewhere for an attorney. While searching for new counsel multiple other law firms stated that this is a regular issue with this firm and that Patton & Pittman has a high turnover rate. Save your money for an attorney who will make time for you and fight your case.

If you're looking for a great lawyer in the area keep looking. We're sorry we trusted this firm. They took the retainer then made deals with the opposing lawyers behind our backs which cost us custody with the kids and we had to find better counsel. Also they do not like talking on the phone; they advise you to speak with the assistant via email. Mr.Pittman will not acknowledge or handle any matters regarding his firm and messages to him must go through the assistant.

Going through a divorce is no easy thing to do, but Patton and Pittman made it easy. Theresa Schimmels was my attorney during this process and phenomenal job would sincerely be an understatement. I always got quick and informative responses from emails, and when I needed to speak with her directly she was always there to answer.
