If you are thinking of hiring Mr. Hoffer, do it now! My case was a difficult one stretched across two states. He approached my case with confidence and is very well versed with the law. My family and I can't thank him enough. Other reviewers that say he is arrogant, are mistaking his tactics. He is honest and straightforward which is what you want. Would you rather a lawyer tell you something to make you feel better? Or would you rather one that tells you what needs to be done for the good of your case? I would much rather the second honestly. That is exactly why my case came out better than expected. I can not thank you enough Mr. Hoffer and your staff for being informative and thorough with each detail. I will definitely be hiring Mr.Hoffer again if needed!

I needed an attorney quickly for a tenant / landlord issue and Jerry Hoffer was fabulous! He assessed my situation, did the necessary research in this unusual time of COVID-19, and was able to put together and execute a plan within days. He and his staff were professional and efficient. Jerry did my divorce case and is worth his weight in gold. Will, would and already have recommended him to others. He was very upfront and honest in the consultation. If you need a professional lawyer that easily and confidently makes the other party look like they just graduated law school from an online course at Nonexistent University, then Jerry is your guy.

Jerry Hoffer has been my attorney for over 10yrs. He is always honest with you and takes his time to make sure that you are well informed about your case. Mr. Hoffer has never actually represented me or my husband. He has however represented someone that has grossly taken advantage of me and my husband monetarily. We have personally found Mr. Hoffer to be quite arrogant as well as ruthless and inhumane regarding his interactions with the opposing party. Some people might say “Well, great! That’s exactly the type of attorney or lawyer that I need to win my case.” While others might say “If any human being’s interactions regarding the fate of another human being are ruthless and inhumane then this actually speaks loads about that individual’s character as well as their morals and ethics as a person. Therefore, if they would react so inhumanely and so ruthlessly and with no conscience whatsoever towards the opposing party then this is probably not someone that I could truly trust in the long run to even do me right as their client.” My husband and I are currently renting and have been renting from this current landlord for two years now. In this two year period, my husband and I have never once been late or missed any of our rent payments. My husband has made his living by working from home the last 8 years. Unfortunately, my husband and I are a little older now and both have multiple serious underlying health conditions which means if we contract Covid-19 then we are more at risk for a fatal outcome from this virus. This is why we have not left the premises of this rental property not even one time for the last nine months. This has been easy to achieve due to the fact that my husband works from home. We have been receiving all of our groceries, meds, etc. by delivery services to our front door. But, after we have both been self-quarantining and self-isolating for the last 9 months our landlord has now informed us that she is selling our building to someone that lives in Denver, Colorado. My husband use to be in the mortgage business. So, he knows exactly what this sale is going to require. It will mean multiple entries into our dwelling if not by the landlord by the new buyer with all of his maintenance people, property management, and/or individuals who he uses for his inspections. All of this will expose me and my husband to Covid-19. As we all know, this virus can even attach to the soles of shoes. We did not quarantine for 9 months all to now be forced by our current landlord to now be exposed to this virus. Our landlord knows exactly how we feel and she is also aware of how my husband and I have been playing it safe all year by quarantining. But, our greedy landlord Kathy Thaggard does not care about our health or well being. She is only concerned about selling out and making a nice little profit in the middle of a pandemic. Additionally, we have plenty of proof that this landlord owes us money and yet she refuses to pay us. We told her that we had to have our money for all of the landscaping. She then has Jerry Hoffer send us a threatening email telling us that he and his client refuse to pay us the money that is rightly owed us and he also goes on to say that unless we comply with this sale and willingly and voluntarily allow ourselves to be exposed to Covid-19 then he is going to make sure that we are evicted even though we are not behind on any rent. He furthermore adds in his email that if me or my husband contact this new buyer to collect the monies owed us then he will see it as interfering with the sale and seek further legal action against us. Their are multiple issues with this property in question and our landlord is aware of all of these issues and this is why she is trying to sell and unload this property onto this new buyer. We are being threatened to keep our mouths shut in order for this new buyer of this property to be caught unaware regarding this very shady business transaction. Bottom line is this: Is Jerry Hoffer someone that you can truly trust to handle your case??? You might want to think twice about that question. This man has no conscious which means he will definitely have no empathy for your case.
