Hiring Greg Cotton was probably the worst decision of my life! I was going through a divorce and he didn’t help me at all. The divorce lasted about a year and he really didn’t do anything to help me win what I was asking for. Then after my divorce he sued me and claimed I owe him money. I hired another attorney Michael Snell and he told me Greg committed fraud and was not suppose to charge me 10% interest which is illegal in Tennessee! Mr Snell also alleges Greg committed fraud by charging me interest upon interest. He counter sued Greg I’m just waiting on my day in court. Look up the case ID number if you don’t believe me CH-17-1239 it’s all public records.

I inquired with his firm to represent me in a case. He pushed me aside stating a busy workload but did give me the closest date he could discuss my case. He verbally agreed on payment terms if we moved forward, however as the date approached, I still didn't hear back from him. When I called him for the 4th time to ask if he was still available after that date he provided, he was rude and kept interrupting when I attempted to breifly and politely answer his questions. Eventually at the end of the call, he explained to me he wouldn't take the case because I had a previous attorney . I respect his policy but it would have saved our case several weeks' time if he would have told me that from the beginning. It would have also been helpful if he wasn't so rude in his conversations.

This attorney was chosen by my legal insurance plan. He called me back and mocked me for my problem. Very unprofessional!

Very nice guy! He his Straightforward with you and will answer any questions that you need and pretty easy to get on the phone with I like him.

I visited him over a domestic issue. I thought he was arrogant and borderline rude. He printed out a contract for me to sign and I thought the price was expensive. I told him that I wanted to shop around, he asked me to give him his contract back and seemed offended that I would question the cost. Luckily for me, I did question the price and found a much friendlier attorney that handled the issue at less than half the price.

Great guy and very personable.
