When I met Mr. Fort, I wasn't sure where to even begin, but he thoroughly examined my situation and had a plan from the beginning. He was direct and always honest with me. I truly appreciated that because, as a regular person, you have to have faith in the lawyer representing you. There isn't much in divorces to be glad about, but I was glad I decided to walk into his office that first day.

Mr. Fort has represented me with both professionalism and compassion. He helped calm my fears and guide me through this scary legal world I knew nothing about. He was complimented by the judge in court one time when the DA objected to a key piece of evidence Mr. Fort had discovered. The judge denied the DA's request to throw out the evidence, and stated on the record how refreshing it was to see a defense attorney who worked so hard for their client. I certainly didn't get the impression the judge did this very often for attorneys, nor have I heard that said again in the courtroom. The judge was clearly impressed with Mr. Fort! I was charged three times in four months and had three Orders Of Protection taken out against me by a con-man ex-bf and his daughter when I told them i was done with them using me as their support and ATM and they had to leave. They manipulated events to manufacture charges, changed my locks, and stole my car, my phones, jewelry, personal papers and many other items of value and personal meaning from every room in my house while I was not allowed to go back until I had my day in court. There were so many lies to disprove and the two of them against one of me in a they said-she said. I have never been so frightened, felt so alone or violated in my life. I couldn't imagine that this could ever be made right and justice served. I remember contacting Mr. Fort late at night in hysterics to ask if he could please help me, and he responded immediately for me not to panic and he would see me in the morning. He successfully helped me navigate through the courts and had all the false charges and OOPs either dismissed or non-suited. He also communicated with my family to reassure them when I could not do so myself. These two clearly knew and had manipulated the legal system much better than my naive self, but they were no match for Mr. Fort. His words had my ex literally running out the courtroom door rather than get on the stand and face his questions. I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone. He is caring while at the same time being honest with you about the law and how this can affect you, and that is a winning combination in my book any day!
