Dishonest, unprofessional, unethical. The three most descriptive words I can use for this lawyer. I first hired them and was assigned D.T Christmas who never returned my calls, and the few times I did talk to him spoke to me as if he didn’t work for me. When I first hired these scum bags they told me and my family they would charge me 7500$ and if and only if I was indicted they would charge another 8500 so I said ok, and after a long 13 months I called to ask why they had not filed for dismissal when it had been over a year and the statue of limitations was up, I was told that they wanted to wait for 18 months which made so sense at the time but it soon became clear why. They called me and told me I was indicted and I needed to pay another 8500 for them to continue the case so I paid it trusting that I had been indicted but the next time I went to court I was still not indicted so I called and told them I wanted my money back because I wasn’t indicted yet and I wanted them to put in my dismissal which I had been asking for for well over 6 months. So then I get a call from Matt Ooten saying that Mr Christmas has been fired for stealing and he put in for the dismissal and all of a sudden it was dismissed. So basically they lied about me being indicted just to get me to pay another 7500$ and then they put the dismissal in. So once I found out and once again said I wanted my money back he gave me all these excuses and tried to say that that was the fee for the dismissal. Trust me SAVE YOUR MONEY I AM CURRENTLY LOOKING INTO HOW TO CONTACT SOMEONE IN ORDER TO FILE A SERIOUS COMPLAINT AGAINST THIS UNETHICAL FIRM. Please do not waste ur money here. The only reason my case got dismissed was because the amount of time that went by this guy and his team literally did nothing and charged me twice and lied and ignored my calls the whole time there are much better attorneys out there.

I retained Matt Ooten to represent me in a case that has been plaguing me for over 3 months, 2 different postponement’s. A week after retaining Matt Ooten to represent me the case was dismissed and expunged from my record. Valerie and Matt thank you very much it was an expedient and professional experience.
