I submitted a contact form on Mark's website shortly after a wreck earlier this year. I actually was shocked that he contacted me within 5 minutes to talk about everything. With Mark, the entire process was so simplified. He told me everything I needed to know up front and clarified everything for me to understand from any lawyer jargon that normal people may misinterpret. He lined out everything from start to finish and made it so easy from a client's perspective. He knows what he is doing and is very professional through the entire process. Highly recommend!! * Before you call late at night !!!!* I work third shift at Denso and got hit by a car yesterday while riding my bike. I really started having pain issues at about 2:00 am while at work, so found this firm listed with hours listed as "24 Hours" so on my lunch break (around 2 am) decided to call. Got a voicemail, so left a message...2 actually. Was awoken an hour after going to sleep today by a call from Mr. Hartsoe. He began asking me what happened, stopped my after I told him I had not gotten medical treatment yet, and then declined to take the case, adding that if I was not seriously injured, they would not take the case. He also pointed out that it was disrespectful for me to call at 2:00 am. I told him I did so because he advertised being open 24 hours and I work third shift. Long story short: while Mr Hartsoe is knowledgeable about bicycles, greenways, the law, evidence, local law enforcement techniques, accident reports, and everything having to do with personal injury law, DO NOT CALL HIS OFFICE after an average person's bedtime or you may be chastised like I was and told that his calls are forwarded to his personal phone when the office is closed. In other words you might wake him up, piss him off, and get lectured about calling someone at 2:00 am in spite of the fact that he advertises that office hours are 24 hours. So in summary: I have no doubt from spelling with him that he is knowledgeable and competent, but accidentally waking him by calling during his posted business hours will ensure he will not want to take your case if it is something that "could have waited". Hopefully he will read this, remember our conversation, and consider elaborating on his business hours entry in Google so that people who accept things at face value (like myself) will not actually believe that this office is open 24 hours a day like his listing says.

From the very beginning, Mark Hartsoe was straight to the point and never had me guessing as to what I should do next. I cannot rave enough about Mark. He’s so personable, yet professional, caring and absolutely the best. I had no idea what was going to happen or how things were going to go. He called us within an hour of an online submission. He met with us the following week and explained everything in detail. How the process would go, pricing, etc. he would call me randomly to see how I was doing and even after the fact he has contacted me to how we all were doing.
