Very professional and smart. She also is firm and up front......but too expensive. I guess it is a lucrative business and no sympathy for claims. I imagine u have to b hard n sturdy because it is emotionally draining to deal with other human beings issues which is a lot. Overall, she is very good. Kind no her stuff.

***ATTENTION MEN CONSIDERING DIVORCE***
Alicia helped me through my divorce and was great at helping me understand the perspective of the opposing (aka: female) side throughout the process. Any divorce is somewhat expensive and difficult emotionally - no matter what attorney you use, but my challenge was to get me through it as quickly as possible without a lot of drama or paying my ex some ridiculous amount of money. No cases are the exactly the same, but Alicia helped keep me focused on the end game and did a great job for me.

Impressed by Attorney Howard's online profile; I solicited her legal services. Two days before our court date, she had her assistant, her daughter, Jessica, to phone me and to state "since I lived out-of-state I did not need to appear in court because Attorney Howard would represent my interest." On the day court convened, I was notified by a third party that the judge dismissed the case because no one from the petitioner's side was in court. Attorney Howard had another court proceeding scheduled at the same time as my petition. She tried to solicit the another attorney to ask the judge for a continuation. That attorney informed her that they would not be able to assist her. Thus, instead of rescheduling the conflicting court date, Attorney Howard did not appear in court to represent me. In fact, she did not know that the case had been dismissed. I informed her that the case had been dismissed. In her defense, she insisted that the defendant had not been served. I provided proof to Attorney Howard that the defendant had been served several months prior to the December court date. Once again, in her defense, Attorney Howard stated "I can fix this; lawyers do this all the time." I immediately terminated her services. She then immediately filed a motion to have the judge's dismissal sat aside. Prior to her filing that motion, "I told her not to do anything on my behalf." Nevertheless, she filed the motion and informed me that I had to appear. The court date was set. Attorney Howard appeared before the judge and attempted to speak. The judge asked me a question and I stated, " Attorney Howard was not my attorney and that I had terminated her services." The judge instructed Attorney Howard to leave the court room. I have documented proof of the lies her daughter told me and the lies that she told me. The board wrote and informed me that they gave her an informal warning only, I, too, feel compelled to informally warn the public about Attorney Alicia Howard's behavior.
