Attorney Hairston represented me in a child support case. He listened to everything I explained to him about the issue and then made a very knowledgeable set of routes we could take. He allowed me to choose whichever route I wanted and gave me scenarios for each. While this has been an ongoing case he has stayed in contact about new finding and if he wasn’t able to get back with me himself, he did have his assistant reach out to me to update me. He did a great job communicating with the other party in order to get what was needed for the case even though the other party was not cooperative. He is a great attorney and I would advise anyone dealing with this type of case to hire him.

Mr.Hairston represented me in my custody and child support case. He was very kind and knowledgeable. There were a couple of times that I reached out to Mr. Hairston but did not hear from him until the day before or morning of court. I wasn’t extremely worried about this- only because my case was not Very intense and did not require much “battling it out” in the court room. Mr. Hairston was there to more-so help me understand my rights/ responsibilities and to provide advice should matters get out of hand. He did a great job communicating with the other party and he was able to get me what I wanted in terms of the parenting plan. I would definitely suggest Mr.Hairston to other individuals in a similar situation as myself.

Mr. Hairston is an excellent attorney! This man has helped me through several court appearances. I can't even find the words to express my gratitude for having an attorney like him. He is an attorney that actually cares about his client and the child's best interest and not just the money. I respect the fact that he made sure everything was for my daughter's good. So many times I wanted to give up on going to court because my child's father was constantly dragging me to court unnecessarily resulting in job loss, missing school, and relocation 2 times and he pushed me through it all. I'm in tears writing this review just thinking of the many times I spoke with Mr. Hairston and his staff over the phone and in person in tears and they were so supportive and made sure they did whatever possible to get me through the hard times. Mr.Hairston always consulted with me about the next step in my case and asked my opinion. When he told me what he thinks the next step should be he was sure to give the reason and what could possibly go wrong if we didn't go that route. Mr. Hairston always encouraged me to try to coparent and communicate with the father even though he would deny my attempts to discuss things about the child but I know Mr. Hairston was trying to prepare us for life after court and I truly appreciate him for that. I would definitely recommend Mr. Hairston.

Roland is a great attorney if you have an uncontested divorce case. I found him to be very pleasant to work with, soft mannered and polite. As it pertained to my case, he was not as responsive as I would have liked, and had an issue providing me with email exchanges regarding my case for which he was billing me for. Roland represented me at the judicial settlement conference(pre-trial) conference, where there was not a settlement. The trial was due a little over a week and he was not prepared for the trial which had to be postponed. During my time being represented by him, I would receive documents from his assistant for other cases not related to mine, I would receive calls to go over things already discussed. After I expressed my dissatisfaction, he began billing me for and everything. I'm assuming his feeling were hurt and he wanted to 'stick-it' to me and this was his way of doing so. Ultimately, while roland was a good person, I don't think he knew how to close the case out which is ultimately why he was hired.

His expertise and professionalism greatly impressed me at first contact. I was in the hospital and texted him an overview of my case. He promptly researched and prepared a very successful petition, which resulted in complements from the Judge. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Jay Steed to anyone without any reservations

Attorney Roland Hairston did a wonderful job on my case. I highly recommend him for child custody cases, he is respected in the court room and gets the job done. I am from Michigan and my child mother moved to Nashville, TN and communication just disappeared. I contacted Attorney Roland Hairston when I was not getting no results with my child’s mother, she was not answering the phone, not letting me spend time with my daughter, and not being truthful in court. Because of Attorney Roland Hairston I am reunited with my daughter, I have my parenting plan now which is court ordered! I get all the summers, fall breaks, winter breaks we split Holidays, and I have to pay $124.00 in current support and $76.00 in back support which is at total of $200.00 mthly.
