Roland was a fantastic attorney during my divorce case. He helped bring us to a settlement without having to go to trial in a case that was super contentious and easily could have went to trial. His billing is affordable and done in a super ethical way. I was initially referred to one of the so called "best divorce" attorneys in Nashville. I didn't feel heard or advocated for, and the way they billed me was super unethical in my opinion. I would have easily spent $100,000 if I continued with their representation and that wasn't an option for me. I fired them, and was super discouraged and having the hardest time finding a new attorney. I met with Roland and expressed my concerns and he mapped out a plan and advocated for me. We got some great custody wins on the motion docket which helped forge a path to settlement. During the hardest situation in my life, Roland put my mind at ease both in regards to the financial part of a divorce and the handling and representation of the case. Attorney Hairston took care of my motion to amend and won for me. However, his assistant makes huge mistakes with documentation. He was not good calling. He would say he was going to call and then never would. My documents with my child's personal information went missing after I had paid for said documents and he never took the time find out what was going. His assistant called me and told me that i would not receive a refund and that it was not her problem that they went missing. Roland would be a good attorney if he had a better assistant and not one that is going to make mistakes that will eventually result in him losing his license.
