Words cannot describe how pleased I was with Martin Heller Potempa & Sheppard! Jennifer Sheppard and Katie Aeschliman were so wonderful to work with! My husband's case was very involved and I was not sure I would find a law firm that would even take the case, but they were not afraid to take it and did the best job I could have ever asked for. Jennifer was not only an experienced lawyer and Katie a very good paralegal, but they were caring people also! There were so many times that my husband's case got very involved with personal issues, but they handled it so well and encouraged me! Now that my case is over I am actually going to miss communicating with the both of them, but I am also happy a sad chapter in my life is over regarding my husband's Estate. The best I can do for Jennifer and Katie is encourage anyone who is thinking about a law firm to please consider this one because you will not be sorry. Did not provide service i needed even though I am a former client

Jennifer Sheppard has represented me on several occasions regarding family law needs. She is by far the best attorney, in and out of the courtroom, I have ever experienced. She is caring and passionate about her clients interests and needs. As well as clear in the realities of the given situation. She takes the time to really understand the situation and guide you through all the steps that should be taken. I cannot recommend her and the staff at MHPS enough. I will also mention that John Wilks had to fill in for Jennifer at one point for me and was of similar character. Thank you!!!!

Did not cover what I needed her to do for me

Jennifer Sheppard and Katie Aeschliman were amazing at helping our family, especially during COVID, when face to face meetings were more difficult. They listened to us and took our needs into consideration, and were extremely professional. They took the time to answer all our questions, follow up with us, and responded to our phone calls and emails very quickly. I am so grateful for all their help and advice and highly recommend them.

I cannot thank Jennifer Sheppard enough for the hard work and dedication she gave to the case regarding a very difficult conservatorship case, concerning my mother. Needless to say, having to have a conservatorship many times means there is difficulty among family members. There were several years of meetings, research and a unbelievable number of court hearings, due to the opposing party. There had to be times, when she wished she had never taken the case, and I could not have blamed her at all for walking away from the nonsense involved in this case. But, Jennifer stuck with Mom and me and saw this case thru to the end of Mom's life. She worked tirelessly to insure I was awarded the Conservatorship over Mom's well being and her finances. There were times when I thought the truth would never be revealed, but I was wrong, even impatient; however, Jennifer never waivered, and finally, the truth came out and Mother was protected with her well-being and her finances were secured.
