I am a 1LT that was accused of assault consummated by battery, sexual harassment, sexual assault and counterproductive leadership. The accusations were extreme and I thought my career was over. I contacted Attorney Barry who has had years dealing with these type of investigations. The command oversees failed to communicate with me during this ordeal and had left me in the dark for majority of these trials. I had to fight to receive answers and for my freedom to return home from my overseas deployment. I wasn’t being taken care of and honestly was stricken with grief over what this mean for my career. Attorney Barry heard me out and was upfront about my options as this was my first ever offense. He was straight and to the point about what was needed during this process as the command unit tried to move underhandedly. Luckily my rear command were cooperative with him and provided every document he needed to draft his rebuttal for the investigation and decision. He built a solid case and prepared my defense in a logical order to be presented to the MG who was the final decision. The Board ultimately decided to give me a locally filed GOMOR that would ensure that my career not be hindered. I can’t thank him enough for fighting for me and my career and taken the time to go all out. A wait was lifted and I highly recommend him.

I loved his approach and how he played no games with me. He was serious, professional and didn't beat around the bush. In a stressful time when you are busy defending yourself, you need someone who isn't going to sugar coat things for you and who will show you that he truly wants to protect you. Even though he is straight forward, he was always there for me. I went through an ROTC disenrollment board which meant that I had to cross examine my witnesses and he was not permitted to say much during the board. Mr. Barry helped me acquire a General discharge from the Army instead of an OTH. The free military lawyer wouldn’t even answer the phone.
