I got in a minor car accident in November of 2019 and since my husband worked at the company I choose Godsey Martin to handle my case. For the first three months everything went smoothly. After that I only heard from my attorney Susan Smith quarterly for the next TWO years. In that two years every time I had to initiate contact although I requested at least a monthly update about my case. She never made a move on my case unless I called. There was always an excuse for the excessive length of time. She' even told me she had more important/pressing cases or clients and often blamed/placed much of the responsibilities on her Paralegals. In the end she stalled my case, withheld VERY important information from me, did NOT keep me updated and after over six complaints got nasty/condescending with me.She also made decisions on my case against my wishes. She taunted me as she purposely stalled receipt of my settlement check and even LIED about receiving my funds. When I went over her head, she got even more vindictive and unprofessional with me over the phone. Had it not been for my husband's knowledge of the process & Juan (her higher up)I would still be waiting for for my check right now. I am so hurt and disappointed as I was trying to support a black owned company after having a prior similar bad experience with another personal injury law firm. Unfortunately I will NEVER do business with them again as it took over 2 years to settle, and the lack of interest in my case. I would 100% recommend going to another attorney who will get you real results faster and has MORE PROFESSIONAL attorneys. If you do choose them, save yourself the time and frustration and DON'T accept Susan Smith as your representation.

Amanda English is the GOAT. She has handled everything quickly and with great professionalism so far. The accident is unfortunate but I am happy I am able to work with her.

Should’ve went with my first mind and got another lawyer the customer service is horrible one of the agents actually tried to blame me for the accident.Another hung up.Just Rude and unprofessional. Hoping to experience better as I go through this process it’s one thing to be dealing with the accident but to have a company that just doesn’t care makes the whole thing 10 x worst. HR needs to review expeditiously ! *Update A new case manager has reached out named Priscilla and was very nice, informative and listened to my concerns. I appreciate the attempt to make this experience better.

Yovanna does NOT respond after your first initial call, after she requests a positive google review lol. I have been left hanging, can not get a hold of a single person that will answer my questions. Very frustrating. Every time I get to someone, they told me they can't answer my questions. They said they can't help, and I have to leave a message with a brand new agent that's been assigned that does NOT call back even after multiple voice messages. original post: Yovanna showed a lot of compassion and care, really appreciate her. So happy she was assigned to my case.

Definitely some ups and downs- but overall great experience. I’m not going to get into the details of my case but it was pretty clear cut. In the beginning everything was going extremely smoothly. The stream of communication was un-hindered. As my case progressed, my case manager was constantly updating me and keeping me in the loop. Then one week I was having trouble getting the medical attention I needed I could not get ahold of someone and was told someone would call me back I was contacted by an employee of the firm named “Juan”. He was able to get everything on track . Over the remainder of my case, he ensured that I stayed within the loop; and now everything is worked out, and I’ve received my settlement. Thank you Godsey Martin I hope I never get hit again but if I do you are on my speed dial.

I phoned Godsey and Martin about a new cas. The person on the phone was rude I ash to be placed into Justin voice mail which she refused to do.this is a death case. Sorry to hear Godsey & Maerin has forgotten clients come first. Explained I was an old employee and old friend, bur rgat still didn't mater. Guess I will call Frankel & Frinkel. SD

They're supposedly handling my case. Haven't heard from them in several weeks although I left two messages and one email. Maybe quality of service is a reflection of your potential payout?

In my opinion these people work simple cases. My daughter died in an automobile accident; I reached out to this company as a result of a friend who attended college with the co-owner. After taking with Justin (I believe that was his name) was impressed. He talked a good game yet played as if he had not played in the arena! After a couple of months. I began receiving telephone calls from people I didn't know. As I questioned the attorney I initially hired, he consistently told me that these people that were calling worked with him. Later I discovered act several inquiries that the actually didn't work within the same office/firm but I JUST GOT HIT transferred my case to another firm independent of their company! Please note that all of this occurred within months as I was deeply grieving the loss of my daughter! As a person who previously used their service; I definitely would not recommend this business! In my opinion, if you have a small case, they may handle that however; in larger cases, they are scouts for large firms without notification nor explication!

Terrible. I called them immediately went thru all the processes explained my situation to several people despite the trauma I was going thru. Was told I needed to see doctors and physical therapy and that they’d help me and work with me only for after a while my case agent stopped returning my calls my doctors couldn’t get ahold of them to approve my mri and my insurance ultimately didn’t pay out despite someone slamming into me at 100mph while they were running from the cops. My situation is honestly worse off after having contacted them and after calling again nobody has gotten back to me. I’ve just been ignored and forgotten about and now the insurance has moved on leaving me with medical bills l, debt, and no car after having bought the car only two days prior. These guys are the absolute worst
