Great firm Priscilla was very awesome and attentive to all my needs.

This firm. SMH. So, I spoke with Marcus (initial call) who was pleasant and professional and it has gone DOWN since then. It took over a week for me to speak with someone and that's because I sent an email to their customer service email. Spoke with Modesto ONE time and he said he would call me in a couple of weeks to keep me updated and that was on the 11th. I called him yesterday and left a voicemail and didnt get a call back so called today and unable to leave a message because the mailbox is full. I sent another email and spoke with Brittany that was helpful in the fact that there was at least a voice, but this firm is not good with communication. So if you want to feel like you made a mistake in whom you chose to take care of you call Godsey Martin. ***UPDATE**** 9/27/2022 Ai received a call from Ebony stating I had finally reached the negotiations stage and the insurance company has 3 weeks in which to respond. I called her back on 11/3/2022 and she told me she would get back with me after speaking with the insurance company 11/4/22. Still NOTHING. Absolutely unbelievable that they advertise on a predominantly black radio station and gain our business/trust and do us worse than non people of color. ***UPDATE 5/26/23*** So, have reached the discovery phase smh. I am now in communication with Ms. Marian and SHE has kept be updated the MOST in this whole over a YEAR process, but still moving slower than my turtle. Hope to never need a law firm again. Such a SOUR taste.

I was rear ended back in December 2021. I enlisted the help of Godsey Martin Law Firm and was assigned Perla Velazquez as my “attorney”. Perla says she’s going to call and check in with me every two weeks. Two weeks, seriously? She sends me to physical therapy 3 times a week for 4 weeks. I had to call in late to work multiple times because of this. It is now April 2022 and I have not heard from Perla since early January. It took her weeks to respond to emails and voicemails even before I stopped hearing from her completely. I missed out on funds because of this. I don’t know that she actually did any work because I was constantly on the phone with both insurance companies, handling it myself. Thank goodness they don’t require some kind of deposit.

I currently have Godsey And Martin law firm and I am about ready to get another lawyer on my case. I have Lucinda as my case manager and she is very horrible. She doesn't keep her word, she said she qould call every 2 weeks qith updates a.d that has not been. I find out things when I call them. I have called her on Friday April 8th amd Monday April 11th a d no call back, I have even contacted her boss Ryan Roger's and nothing back from him either. Yes, I do understand that I am not their only client , but at the same time call me back and give me update and not with the same info. My personal experience I wouldn't choose this law firm they are not what they advertise. I'm over it already.

Will start with saying that it was very quick to get approved for them to represent my case after my car accident which is why they are receiving 2 stars. Every other aspect of the case has been EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING. I’m not sure if these other reviews are paid for or anything but I’ve had the worst time with them. I have to call and call and call just to get through to anybody, and then get told “they’ll get back to me” which never happens and I have to repeat the process all over again. I shouldn’t have to feel as if I have to hunt down and hound people who are HIRED to help me. Find another attorneys office who will actually take your case seriously and save yourselves some time

I can honestly say this is a great law firm I didn't finish going to the doctor I thought I was not going to get anything in my settlement and then after maybe 4 to 5 months I got a call that they were ready for my settlement they really did a great job I would recommend them to anyone my husband had an accident went through a different attorney and they gave him hell for a year and then the check he got was less than mine and he was really injured I was not that bad so I would recommend this law firm to anyone when I went out to pick out my check they were very polite very concerned very respectful people again I refer this to anyone that gets hit in a car accident

It wasn’t the best experience from the beginning they kind of rushed me into an agreement I should have known better. Anytime I called with questions over my case it’d take multiple calls once the case manager was sick so understandable. The second time I asked to cancel my agreement or how’d I go about that& was addressed so I let it slide and tried to keep going. Now we’re months in the insurance company stepping me one thing and Honda financial another after telling my case manager I was over it she simply states if your going to be cussing me out you can hung up as I had even had the chance to say anything just having got her to finally call me back after leaving multiple voicemails and not getting a response all she needed to say was I’m sorry your going through this head ache show some compassion rather then meet someone who’s upset with GOOD reason with hostility shameful!

Every agent is polite and respectful. I have been working with them for 6 years.
