I had my accident June of 2022. I have been calling trying to find out any information concerning my case and I can’t get so much as a call back. I have left several messages and no one calls me back. This is ridiculous and if I would have known this would be my experience, I would have went with another law firm. I’m very unsatisfied with the handling of my case and the lack of communication. I’m considering seeking representation elsewhere.

They don’t return calls and every time you call they’re either away from their desk or on another line!!! Update: My experience with Godsey Martin Law Firm has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. I was involved in an accident nearly three years ago, and I decided to seek their help. Unfortunately, it has been a series of communication breakdowns and unmet expectations ever since. From the beginning, their communication was lackluster. If you ever want to know what's happening with your case, it feels like trying to get information from the IRS – frustrating and time-consuming. Even when they do return your call, it's so delayed that you've likely forgotten why you reached out in the first place. After finishing my therapy within six months of the accident, I expected a smoother process. However, it seemed like they were more interested in their own convenience than keeping me informed. The settlement finally came in over four months ago, and instead of improving, the communication deteriorated further. They switched the people I was supposed to communicate with, and it became hit or miss. It's incredibly frustrating when you're dealing with something as important as a legal settlement, and you can't rely on consistent communication. To make matters worse, the settlement they negotiated for me was subpar, especially considering they take a hefty 33.3% cut. It's disheartening to feel like your interests aren't being prioritized. The last straw was when they suggested a price cut during negotiations with the other party, which was communicated to me over two weeks ago. Since then, I've been left in the dark, unsure of what's happening next. And to top it all off, I've been told I'll have to drive across the country to pick up my settlement check, whenever they finally decide they've made enough money off the interest. In summary, my experience with Godsey Martin Law Firm has been nothing short of a nightmare. They should consider changing their name to "God Awful Experienced Law Firm" because that's exactly how I would describe my experience with them.

I'm a good friend of mines POA I've been trying to get a resolution from this firm for months. They don't return e-mails or phone calls I wouldn't let this firm represent me in a roach fight and I know I'm going to squash it. I sent in documents for review over a month ago and the reps there are telling me the attorney hasn't reviewed them yet. I understand procedure and protocol but this is simply unprofessional DO NOT use this firm if you want your case handled professionally and expeditiously

I removed earlier post out of respect for my case manager. However I am back again THOROUGHLY UNSATISFIED with my representation. I regret contracting this company to represent me. It's been almost two months and despite calling numerous times leaving voicemails on both Perla Velasquez and David Brittons. I have not received any update. This company does not reach out, does not properly return calls and you get Voicemail more than human interaction. I will be releasing said representation once they make contact.

My accident was on 06/ 21/2022. A week later I retained Godsey Martin Firm. Alondria Cruz the manager dealing with my case never calls back. The lawyer I don't know who that is. They totally misrepresent them selves. My case is very simple. The other party has admitted fault and I have uninsured and under insurance motorists. There is no reason for this incompetence and unprofessional behavior.

Amanda English was my intake coordinator at the dallas office and she was patient, and explained everything carefully throughout the process of getting information. Very welcoming and informative! I was comfortable with giving her information and by the end of the call I knew exactly what to expect going forward! Great customer service!

I’m highly disappointed in this company. This was my second time reaching out to them after I was involved in a car wreck. The first time didn’t go well but they did finally resolve my case after about a year and a half of calling for updates with no information and having to complain so much that I spoke with Mr. Godsey himself before it was all done. I thought it was just an unfortunate mishap that happened with my case so I reached out again after I was hit in June of this year and it’s all happening over again just with a different team. I called to update my case manager once I was released from physical therapy a month ago and at that time she told me she’d be reaching out to the physician to get medical records/bills etc and she’d follow up with me in three weeks. At the three week mark I reached out to her, no answer or returned phone call within the next business day as her voicemail says. Only after I complained to the receptionist did I receive a call from my case manager 3 days later. Once I spoke to her she literally had no idea that I was done with physical therapy and told me the exact same thing she told me three weeks ago! So my case has just been sitting untouched for almost a month. I tried to reach out to her supervisor/the actual attorney and after his voicemail recording ends the phone hangs up so I’m unable to leave a message. I reached out to the receptionist again asking her to have the actual attorney return my call and guess who calls me…. The case manager! I explained to her I did not call to speak with her and she still asks if she could help. Absolutely not! As much as I want to support this business I would be doing people a disservice to recommend this law firm. Please do not waste your time! In addition to their lack of customer service, it was myself, my daughter (13) and son (2) in the vehicle at the time of the accident. My daughter and I went to physical therapy for our injuries my son is too young. My sons case was settled in a timely manner however the guy who hit us insurance company offered $1000 to settle and after fees paid to the lawyer my son is only receiving $450 and I was told by the negotiator that was excellent but I know better. Before an offer was made I was told about a percentage that the law firm will get but after the settlement I was told there was an additional $250 fee paid to the attorney and that I signed paperwork that stated that however the percentage is the only fee that was verbalized. I take accountability for not reading the paperwork completely but if your verbalizing fees why just one and not all fees. So I was able to speak with the attorney who waived the $250 fee so that my son would get more of the settlement money but it is over a month later and still no check. *** Update*** Now I’m being told that the settlement check (from the insurance company to the law firm) was lost in the mail and it has to canceled and a new one has to be issued. So I’m sure by my next three week check in there will be another issue and I still won’t have any money.

At the beginning for about 2months I was constantly contacted but when I decided I didn't want to do therapy anymore because it didn't help only made thing's worse; I heard absolutely nothing about my case..except for "were waiting on paper work from the hospital". The person that's supposed to be handling my case is either NEVER in the office, on vacation or just flat out doesn't answer the phone or return voice-mail messages. It's been over a year & still no settlement, no offers No nothing. I was seriously injured,broke my back & had to go back to work sooner than recommended because I had no money. I loss my apartment. I left a message with the attorney that the machine says to leave a message with if you have a complaint & still no response. This is exactly why I don't support black businesses that often; most have a exaggerated perception of their own importance lacking humility & offering no sympathy & having no empathy.
