My friend has been using them for over a year to get divorced from an abusive narcissistic man and this firm has just been giving her the runaround. They don’t inform her of anything. She has the hardest time going through and the paralegal Nicole is unprofessional in the spare communications she has sent. I would definitely recommend staying away from this firm.

I had high hopes for this firm. I had what should have been an easy case. Jim met with me initially and I never saw him again. I had no clue who was representing me and who to look for on the morning of court. Once we got in, a simple mistake was made by my representing attorney, and unfortunately I overlooked it and signed the documents. This meant that of course, the judge signed it. I was upset because it was going to financially ruin me and I called and called for over a month and NEVER got a response. I sent emails, then called some more. No answer. I called the Attorney Generals office trying to get help from them but they referred me back to my attorney. After 6 months and a financial loss of almost $7k, I filed documents with the attorney generals office to have ANOTHER court hearing to correct the mistake. So I had already paid an attorney several thousand dollars to represent me, then had to pay the county clerks office a fee for representing myself and using their facilities. While I do feel that the blame mostly lies on the attorney that took my case (I take my responsibility for not reading every single page before signing it-lesson learned), I feel like Jim misrepresented himself and his firm. There was not communication. When a client is calling you over and over and begging for help, as the namesake of the company, you would think that he would get involved. What should have cost me a few thousand dollars ended up being closer to ten thousand, but worse than that, it cost my trust in the legal system and this law group all together.

Mrs Davis and Tammy were amazing. There are no words to express my gratitude towards them. I was in a financial bind and wasn’t sure what to do. I have searched for months around El Paso for some answers and ran into rude, disrespectful not caring about anything but getting there money before they gave you any advice. Do NOT use this Law Firm if you have a CPS case. I was not notified of a court hearing and when I asked the attorney "Why" he said it wasn't important. He refused to request a reset and I later found out the CPS case workers claimed in court that no one was willing to take my son, which was a BIG LIE. Had I been notified, the court would have known I had completed my service plan, and my Aunt and Uncle were lisenced foster parents and APPROVED by Texas ICPS for placement of my son. Instead the court decided to fight for terminations of my rights since CPS claimed there was no one willing to take him, and my son was kept in the foster home of a non relative. I have evidence of this.
