From start to finish Jessica was very professional and informative. She made sure I understood what my options were and how things were going to work. When I walked through Douglas Powell’s doors I was so afraid. I was being bullied by another legal team and was at risk of losing everything.
Douglas thumbed through law books and put intense energy into finding a resolution for me other lawyers couldn’t find. Without his help, I hate to think of where I would be today.

From the very 1st time I called to speak with Mr Powell, there was this sweet calming voice that made me feel very glad I did. I have been treated with great respect and not at all made to feel ashamed or embarrassed about the poor judgment I used and bad choices that caused a financial ruin in my life,

So we had originally gone to another attorney to file for BK and were told we had to wait for another 6 months. Their communication sucked so I decided to seek another attorney and so glad I did!! We only had to wait one month and are now officially discharged where if I had gone with the original attorney, we would still be waiting!!
