Being a mother to teenage boys can be difficult at times, especially when they make poor decisions that can have a huge impact on their futures. Jason English was a lifesaver! When our boys needed represented for some criminal charges, a friend recommended Jason.We had never needed a lawyer for anything like this before and I was terrified for my kids. He immediately responded to my email and called me directly to discuss their charges. He was honest, professional, and gave us the best representation money can buy. Jason knows the court system inside out. He gave us advice on things to do to be proactive with the situation, such as, attending drug and alcohol awareness classes and completing 25 hours of community service hours prior to a court date. Jason English should be the go to guy if you ever have any issues that need to be dealt with in a court room. I requested a Travis County court appointed attorney to defend me, and after being approved for counsel I went to the desk to get the name of the lawyer who would represent me. The person at the desk looked up who it would be and gave me the name and told me I had just won the lottery “You got one of the best” I asked “really, why”? Then he says “he’s good, he works hard and he knows the law”. I googled Jason after that and was blown away by his experience in Texas and his knowledge of prosecutorial procedures from working as the Chief of the Hays County District Attorney’s Office and as the Travis County Assistant District Attorney. Jason is an outstanding Lawyer. He was very professional, direct, and responsive. He made me feel as if my case was the most important case that he had. He reviewed with me all the evidence in my case, defense process, and then he laid out a realistic timeline and what his expectations were. Everything we discussed initially is what happened in my case and he worked hard to get my case dismissed exceeding all my expectations. If Jason worked that hard as my court appointed attorney, just imagine what he would do for someone who is paying him to defend them.

I was charged with DWI in January of 2019. When I was looking for a lawyer, I had never been in trouble with the law my whole life. When I called Jason's office, he directed me immediately as to what the next steps were in the process, how much it was to retain his services, and guided me until my first court date. I was scared, embarrassed, and really didn't know what I was doing and Jason took care of everything. My case took 10 months from start to finish and Jason was by my side the entire time. He worked hard to plead my case from a Class A down to a Class B and no probation. I was shocked. I really thought I was going to get handed "the book" because of my alcohol content level. Legal stuff isn't really my thing but I do know I'm not a fan of jail time or hefty fines so when I discovered that I had an old warrant I got a little knot in my stomach. I hit the Google machine to search out help, called several lawyers. I spoke to 2 lawyer firms before calling Jason's. The other 2 seemed disinterested and distracted, one asked for my name, DL#, etc., and offered to call me right back, the other I spoke to someone taking messages but neither called me back. Jason answered directly and right from the beginning, he was responsive knowledgeable thorough and reliable. He seemed to know everything about my case by the time I spoke to him the second time. After that he kept me posted and was quick to answer any questions. The entire experience was easier than I imagined it could be and as it turned out, I didn't even have to go to court!
