How he became an attorney is beyond me? My husband was his client, unbeknownst to me a court hearing was scheduled? My husband was told by his then assistant that I had been notified of court date hearing etc. LIAR I received a postcard in the mail with a case number? I asked a good friend of mine (who's a PI attorney) what did this case #, court hearing card mean. It was FINAL DIVORCE case #, divorce had gone through? Had I had the money, meanness in me I could have had him disbarred! Instead I called my husband he said he had called off the divorce, that we could work it out. My husband had no idea what this man, his assistant had all done behind my husband's back. This was in 2005, we renewed our vows this year celebrating 27 yrs of marriage. Fighting against him and his evil lying tactics, might had a different ending? In all of this good overcame evil. I believe in my heart this is a very sad individual who can't ever amount to anything good not in this life time. At the end he'll have to answer to the Judge that holds his destiny. I hope that enough folks read all of the reviews and stay clear of this man.

Brian is extremely unprofessional, takes your money and won't take your calls. I hired him to represent my grandson gave him the evidence they were using against him and the video proving my grandson did nothing wrong in the incident. This man drug this out, wouldn't take our calls, had his assistant not take our calls(mind you he went through 3 assistants in a years time) probably did not pay her. but anyway, all he needed to do was argue the case and ask for a dismissal. Which finally happened after the DA realized they did not have anything on him. SMH very poor excuse for an attorney........

If there are any good review they are LYING. THIS GUY IS A SCAM ARTIST. Untrustworthy and just an all around a$$. RUN!!

Successfully handled my child support case. He was professional, effective and understanding. Highly recommend.

If I could state 0 stars I would! But took me a whole while to write this because I didn't know how to go about this, I was recommended by a person to Do a Grievance. As I did. DO NOT HIRE BRIAN BENARD. HE IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, DOESNT COMMUNICATE, AND WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY. IT'S QUITE SAD THAT HE DOESN'T WORK FOR YOU AND AT TIMES TALKED TO ME ABOUT SOMEONE ELSES CASE THAT INVOLVED A MERCEDES CAR. ANYWHO AFTER 3 YEARS AND TRYING TO COMMUNICATE WITH HIM HE FINALLY CALLED ME yesterday becausei added a Grievance towards him. I'm sure he's a great guy AND DAD and husband but as a Lawyer TO HELP YOU GET YOUR RIGHTS AS A DAD (OR MOM) be very careful. AFTER GETTING A NEW LAWYER I since won my child custody case with a different lawyer and I don't understand why he took a case that he wasn't going to work 100% on and that i felt wasnt a difficult case because she was found in contempt for moving. Now I will see him in Grievance court . Do your homework with family lawyers and hope he changes how he is because waiting 3 years to communicate with a client is unprofessional.

I don't not recommend Brian Bernard to represent you as your lawyer. He's unprofessional, rude, and condescending when he speaks to you. He's been handling my sons case for over a year, and NO progress has been made. He doesn't communicate effectively and doesn't respond to inquiries in a timely manner, but demands payment. Seek representation elsewhere and say yourself time and money from lousy representation.

He represented my son in family case and it turned out that he did all he was supposed to do as an attorney DULL DILAGENTS WITH OUR CASE cause there SOME attorney who are in ON $ BINGE & money STREET AREA and they could care less of humanity and family ,Law, Honesty so he's GREAT PERSON . Everyo'ne works at appropriate time they need too! He gave me very helpful ADVICE AND WAS HELPFUL AND I KNOWN ALABLE in his cases he CARES FOR ALL PEOPLE , WAS HONEST , PREPARED AND SUBMITTED PROPER FORMS ON A delicate family matter .. Tanisha Jeffers is my husband's court-appointed lawyer. She hardly ever returns text messages, phone calls, and emails. It really seems as though she's really not working for you, her defendant. I mean I understand that she's a night time judge but when you sign up for a job you do it and you do it to 110%. Especially when it comes to somebody's freedom in life. She keeps trying to get my husband to sign a deal so that they don't have to go to trial when he's not guilty and we can prove he's not guilty. Yet, she keeps pushing for that deal she wants him to just sign a deal and get time served to be done with it. However, he doesn't need the conviction on his record. Not to mention the fact, she missed the last three court dates. The immediate last court date that she missed she didn't even inform him that he had to go to court so he missed the court date and now he has a warrant. And she's saying there's nothing she can do about that it's up to the judge. Why personally know from all the research and the law in my family that she can't find a motion to recall the warrant she can do a lot more than she is. So if you're a court appointed lawyer is Tanisha Jeffers fire her immediately and find somebody else. And unless you're the plaintiff don't hire her.

Took my money and ran. I even asked why there were bad reviews. She said people are just trolls. Took my $2000 upfront and ran, I never met my attorney or received the retainer I asked for. Scam artist

I met Mr.Bernard as he was appointed my court appointed lawyer for multiple felony drug charges. Mr.Bernard never treated me like I wasn't paying for his counsel. Within 6 years Mr.Bernard has represented me in 3 separate felony cases 2 of wich I paid for. I would definitely recommend him to someone in need. He knows how to navigate the court room. Just be honest and upfront with him and go with his plan. He doesn't like to hear BS so save it. He has helped me get sober and gave me ANOTHER shot at life. My wife and I are greatly appreciative of you! It was a long 6 years lol. Thank you Mr.Bernard.

Paid $500 for my CLR hearing and he never appeared. I tried calling and would always get sent to voicemail, and on texts would sometimes reply that he’d get back to me. Its like i hired a ghost Lawyer…. and on top of that i get an invoice from him for over $2,000 and i paid him upfront the $500 that he charged for a one time appearance (which he never did and if i wasn’t on top of things would of gotten bad for me since i was trusting that he would be there). Find someone else, he doesnt care!
