I cannot express how highly I think of the team at Cha Law. They are extremely responsive and helpful! I live in Phoenix but am a resident of Texas (military) and they were able to communicate with me without issue. They have an excellent team who I cannot thank enough! I highly recommend using their services if you are in need of what they offer! Thank you again to everyone at CHA!

From the very first conversation with Christine and Jessah we immediately got a sense that our family issue would be resolved. They worked quickly and kept us informed of progress. Over a year later when another issue popped up they helped resolve it quickly for very low cost. Thank you both. We would definitely recommend CHA Law to anyone needing to resolve a family issue.

Please read to the end if you are thinking about this practice—I wish I would have. The absolute worst experience ever. I hope this helps someone looking at these five star reviews. if it saves one person from her office and/or services, this review will do the community justice. First, Christine has everyone sign a document that basically states if you give her a less than favorable review, she will use your private information to rebuttal the reviews. Since I fired her and have the judge’s ruling accepting her termination In my case, I trust she will not use our private information for the children’s safety and per the sealed ruling. I thought maybe this (Signing a review document) was industry standard, but it is absolutely not, and it is unethical. Please keep that in mind as you read these supposed “5 star reviews” or if you are ever presented such documentation. For those of you who want safety to be taken seriously, this practice is not the place for you. She was presented with legal documents of abuse and dismissed these as nothing serious.. She and her staff were extremely poor communicators. On multiple occasions, I believed they had forgotten my case or put it on the back burner. Christine was difficult to get a hold of and knew very little about our case—she left this all up to the legal assistant which did not help. Christine would interrupt us often, avoid answering our questions, and treat us like we were a burden— like stated in another users 1 Star review—we had the same experience. Christine probably has a world record on the longest unresolved case on my matter. She dragged it on well before Covid (could be used as an excuse) and as far as she could after Covid began. She took over three times the amount of time she said it would take and charged over twice as much as what she estimated. Like the other 1 star reviewer—she and her office made careless mistakes in paperwork and process that she recharged us to do again-same as the other reviewer. Our new lawyer had to redo most as ruled by the judge. Here’s the kicker...this was an uncontested case—nobody was even fighting us! It felt as if Christine was our opposing party! when we were granted privileges to terminate Christine and go with another lawyer, we won our case in a heartbeat..less than 2 months (during Covid, too).. To be clear, the new lawyer had to repeat almost EVERYTHING Christine had done as ordered by the judges because Christine’s office did a couple processes incorrectly! So it wasn’t like we just transferred a case, it was almost a complete restart besides the applications.The cost of the new lawyer was exactly in range of the estimated cost and 1/3rd of the price of Christines and we still received money back from the new lawyer. I am also positive the judges and court system do not look as favorably upon Christine or her practice—like they knew her documents and methods weren’t up to speed (this part is just an opinion I have because the stark contrast between the communication/experiences with both practices). However, the contrast in quality, ethics, price, experience, and speed was a real factor. Best of luck to those of you looking—you deserve better.

CHA Law is the absolute best. Christine and Jessah were fantastic to work with, both professionally (the speed with which they processed all our orders and paperwork exceeded our wildest expectations!) and personally (genuinely caring, supportive people). Right from the start they treated us much more than clients but as family. Their kind and professional guidance and support was the key to accomplishing our most desired goal in life: becoming parents. We truly recommend CHA Law. They have been true blessing for our family. I was recommended to Matthew’s firm by a lawyer friend of mine in Houston after I received a letter from the Attorney General claiming I was the parent of a child that was not mine. The child had my last name because at the time of her birth her mother and I were together and I was told the child was mine. Later a DNA test led to me finding out the child was not mine. This led to a parting of ways with the mother and child. Since we had community property we went to court in Harris County. We had a rule 11 which divided our property and stated that the child was not mine and that the mother was to file a change of paternity and new birth certificate. However her lawyer never did this for whatever reason. And my lawyer at the time never followed up either. So fast forward many years and the child is now in her late teens. The mother goes to apply for welfare for the child and before that can happen the state has to track down the child’s father. And the state thought it was me. This was a fine mess indeed. Matthew straightened it out with ease. I recommend him to anyone in Austin having to deal with Texas OAG. Thanks Matthew!

Christine, Jessah, and the other excellent staff made the whole process very quick and easy. Honestly I was a bit shocked at how quickly everything happened. I’m a few hours away and after the consultation, I was able to do everything else on my end remotely. I regret not doing this sooner!

I contacted CHA Law Group from out of state to have my name and gender marked changed and to obtain a new birth certificate. Christine and her assistant were fantastic. They answered all my questions and were very good at responding to my emails and keeping me up to date on the whole process. The whole process from the time I contacted them to having the court order in hand took less than 1 month. They even did the leg work to actually get my birth certificate ordered to reflect the court order. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in or from Texas who is trying to update their vital statistics. Thanks.
