Christine and the CHA Law group have been intricately woven into my daughter’s beautiful adoption story. I am so thankful that Christine came along side us and our immigration lawyer to get some necessary documentation. What has impressed me the most was her willingness to advocate for my daughter and her timeliness in getting it done both times that I’ve worked with her! In light of all of the 5-star reviews, I have decided to publicly share my experience to help others in their journey. I cannot stress enough how unprofessional this practice is. I received sloppy, incorrect legal documents with incorrect information and was billed for both the original errors and for the paralegal to make the corrections. I have serious ethical concerns about many of CHA Law’s practices and the poor quality of the work I hired them to do. I was told by christine that this quality of work is “common” in her practice...especially if they are “rushed.” As a gay woman, I do not recommend anyone in my community seek legal representation at this firm. The most contentious piece about the entire process was my relationship with Christine and her staff. I was made to feel like a burden and not a valued paying client. There are SO many great lawyers in town. Hire one of them. I wound up hiring an associate attorney (way less experience than Christine) at a different firm and she provided more thorough (both legally and grammatically) work than what I received at CHA law. I attempted multiple times to advocate for myself and lodged numerous complaints with Christine, and was billed for these complaints and told that their sloppy work and poor communication was all “normal”. In short, if you want a crazy-making experience with poor communication and even worse professionalism, this is the place for you!

I am so grateful for having Christine and her law firm help me.. I could not have asked for better representation. They have helped me in ways i never would have been able to do alone. Thanks and keep up the good work!

I am a single gay man who became a dad through surrogacy. Christine helped me evaluate my surrogate from a legal perspective, established a plan and a backup plan, produced a coherent contract, and saw things through to completion. I felt great when at the end of the road Christine called me on Skype so I could appear (barefoot in my pajama bottoms) with my twins in New York before a judge in Texas so he could conclude my case by saying, "Those girls are yours for ever and ever."

Christine and her staff were knowledgeable, professional, and so easy to work with. They are well connected in the legal community here in Austin, which made working through our issue unbelievably smooth. The cost for service was very reasonable. I highly recommend them if you have any of the issues described on their website!

I was recommended to Christine by a local attorney near the Woodlands. I had been seeking a remedy for a hurdle to a somewhat sensitive situation; in a very quick and thorough manner. Needless to say, I found it at CHA Law, with Christine, Jessah and the rest of the staff. Jessah did a beyond amazing job from the very first phone call to be as thorough and helpful as possible and did not loss any momentum all the way through. Christine, fully understood and professionally represented everything I was trying to accomplish, and did it seemingly effortless. Not only was it handled respectfully and sincerely, but also at a much more reasonable and attainable cost. I will definitely refer as many potential clients their way as possible as well as maintain them as my go to firm for any future needs. They are doing meaningful and heartfelt work, that changes and improves so many lives; and I will always be grateful for the pleasure of being represented by them.
