Jillian is the best!! She handled my complicated situation with ease and vigor. Family law in Texas and in general is tough- lots of emotions and circumstances / but she navigated it with ease and had a bedside manner that a lot of lawyers in this field lack. The whole office was wonderful to work with and I felt seen and heard for the first time.

Vaught Law Firm is awesome! I have never had to wait more than a few hours for a response via email or call back (that being if they weren’t readily available which didn’t happen often). They are compassionate and understanding of your needs and concerns. In my experience, Jimmy and his team are very down to earth with clients but prestigious/professional when it comes to your case, a fantastic mix in my opinion. 5 stars all around!!

I was so nervous to start the process of my divorce. After meeting the staff at Vaughn Law Firm I could not have been put more at ease. My divorce was not easy to say the least but having Erin as my attorney and the Vaughts there for me was such a God send. They answered my calls no matter what time of the day I needed them. I would recommend this firm to anyone. The compassion and empathy this group has for their clients is above and beyond. So thankful for them.

This is my second divorce. I used a different attorney for my first divorce. That attorney I wouldn't rehire. This one, I might, depending on the circumstances. Full disclosure - I'm an attorney. When "shopping" for an attorney ALOT depends on individual situation and personalities involved (YOURS and the attorneys). It is EXACTLY that..... SHOPPING! And I can tell you from experience I didn't WANT to SHOP for an attorney the first time or the second. BUT I also didn't want to be in pain any longer and repeat my situation OVER and OVER again. On a scale of 1 to 10 I'd rate my experience a 9. Is the firm perfect? No. Expensive - yes (what attorney isn't who is doing a good job?) Communicate well? For the most part. As best as I've seen other attorneys (I've had to hire attorneys for other various reasons). I can get easily frustrated in today's time when I send an email and it has questions in it that don't get answered. If I am going through the trouble of making a bullet point list, make sure it is read and responded to completely to every item, check it twice before hitting send-- this message goes to anyone out there reading this! Experienced? - YES! Knowledgeable? As far as I could tell Prepared for trial? ABSOLUTELY (of course that came at a cost) Get the result I wanted? Only GOD can do that. Get the next best thing? Again, no matter what the outcome of the trial was, I was to determined to accept the judges ruling as what God wanted for me/my child..... I did my part, Jimmy and his staff did theirs, the defense did (or didn't do) their part..... Would I hire this firm again? I really, REALLY, hope that I don't have need for a Family Law Attorney in another contested situation. But if I HAD to would I? Probably. But I'd at least interview another attorney to see what he/she could bring to the table that is different. To draft a PRENUP or POSTNUP for me? Absolutely I'd hire again - I don't need to shop any further.

I recommend Jimmy Vaught to all my friends. He is smart, honorable and empathetic. There is not a better family lawyer in Central Texas.
