Mr. Jacob Dannen picked up my case from another attorney who left his firm during the pandemic. He was able to gather all relevant details efficiently and gave me great advice even during our initial phone consultation. He was able to tell me, based on which outcomes were most important to me, whether mediation or court would likely be most productive for me. I went with mediation because I was asking for some non-standard items, and I was able to get those done as a result of taking his advice. During mediation, Mr. Dannen advocated on my behalf and was also reassuring about the process. He is very personable and immediately establishes good rapport with clients; he showed good rapport with the mediator. I would definitely recommend Mr. Dannen to a friend and/or use his legal services again in the future..

Looking for an adoption attorney? Stop looking here!! Seriously—this is the group you want if you want someone who cares about your case, works hard to accomplish goals, and is experienced! Let me save you from the agony, time and money I wasted finding the right lawyer. Before I hired “Jimmy” James Evan, we hired another attorney with tons of 5 star ratings—I won’t go into much detail here, other than to show the contrast, and that the 5 star ratings for our previous attorney were coerced. The previous attorney made us sign a document that stated if we reviewed them less than favorable, they would give up private details of our case to rebuttal the review! We thought this was standard language for all attorneys, but it WAS NOT. Please be cognizant that some review systems are altered in that way when you are looking through the reviews. Not these reviews (Evans Family Law)—I’m writing this on my own free will with no threats or coercion, no incentives either. Because I had two separate attorneys/practices on the exact same case and had to fire my first one, I can tell you the contrast between them, and without hesitation, I highly recommend Mr. Evans and Evans Family law Group. Once we fired the old attorney, a case that seemed to be on the back burner was put on high speed. We won the adoption quickly with Mr. Evans. I can tell you now, from my experiences unfortunately, it seems that judges, even case workers, have a better rapport with certain attorneys—it’s as if they know which attorneys are doing not only their due diligence, but the right thing for the children, and which attorneys are fighting for questionable rights or not doing their due diligence appropriately. Now, my opinion on this perception could be because Jimmy was actually a billion times more knowledgeable than my first attorney or it could be a real factor that his reputation precedes him for presenting everything perfectly or both. Ether way, there was a stark contrast between my other multiple-rated 5 star attorney (who took over a year with no resolution and easily went over 5000 dollars of the already estimated 5000 dollars with NO progress)—then there’s Jimmy’s group who did EXACTLY what they said within a price range he discussed which was a fraction of the cost, not to mention he completed the case in three months even though he had to redo some of the footwork from the other attorney as ordered by the judge. Please stop here and give his practice a call if you have been searching for the right attorney. I wish someone would have told me this. If I can help one parent understand the value of this practice over any other, this review will be completely worth everything we had to go through before we hired Jimmy and his amazing team!
