I have had to retain the services of the Evans Family Law Group twice. On both occasions, the firm has been incredible. Everyone that I encountered was helpful, professional, and respectful. Jimmy and his staff walked me through the process and answered all of my questions. Both cases worked out well due to Jimmy’s skill and knowledge. I would highly recommend this firm. And if forced to again in the future, I will retain their services again.

Evans Family Law Group was recommended to me as an Austin based law firm to assist in my legal proceedings in Travis County. Contacting them was easy and I received a personal call back from Mr. Evans himself. Kimberley House was my attorney throughout this lengthy process. She was always compassionate, direct and definitely knowledgeable in the areas I needed her help. The staff was always friendly and professional as well. The best thing about Evans Family Law are their attention to their client’s needs and work diligently to make things happen in their client’s favor. I would highly recommend Evans Family Law to anyone in the Austin area needing legal guidance. I would 100% use this firm again.

I’m so good at life that I got to hire Jimmy twice. :) First, I see many great reviews and also a couple reviews that I just want to say… Jimmy calls back when he needs to and he’s also mindful of the dollars you’re spending for those calls so trust the process and partner together with him to reap the benefits of his representation. As for my experience: When I first hired Jimmy years ago we stormed a bit but I’m a believer that sometimes you have to storm before you perform. Jimmy threatened to fire me as a client early on and I remember yelling back at him “you’re not firing me!” Jimmy told me “well, you gotta listen to me”. He (like me) is a secret softie and more patient than what is readily apparent. Jimmy was more than just an attorney, he was a good guy when I needed it and instrumental in helping me move forward in part by helping me to understand so many things. And, Jimmy was a huge part of my healing during hard times. The way Jimmy explained things to me, they made sense for the first time ever. He helped me to understand what happened, what was happening over the course of the legal issues, and helped me unravel and untangle myself from the conflict and control of others. When I came calling the second time, Jimmy was much more than an attorney he was like family. It was embarrassing but I never had to feel embarrassed, rather protected and shown kindness and grace. Jimmy looked out for me and my children and was there for me during really hard times with child medical complications, financial struggles, and the twists and turns of life and family law litigation. When my child was hospitalized it was he and his team checking on us each time, handling things for us, etc. I am thankful for his help and the results of his help. I am thankful for how he and his team were there for me in the hardest times. I’m glad to know Jimmy and glad I hired his firm. Family law challenges are some of the darkest of days but Jimmy was a bright spot and really got us through. Also, he has gummy bears that are great when you’re tearful. :)

Jimmy Evans and the team at the law group were very helpful and supportive during my custody case as a young single mom. I am helping a friend go through a painful divorce and filled out the "free consultation" for this firm. She is a homemaker with no job at the moment. They tell her it's not free and she pays almost $400 for an hour consultation. She had the consultation with a different attorney today who was cheaper and he only visited with her for 30 min. She called back to see if she could get the amount adjusted seeing that she did not meet with Evans and it was only 30 min. They told her no that he gave her sufficient information. What? I would hope that attorneys would be more empathetic to the situation and not try to milk every dime they can. Not good!

Mr Evans was efficient, thorough, prepared and very responsive, and his cool confidence not only exuded competence and confidence, but it also inspired my complete trust. The paralegal Ms. Orona kept me constantly informed, wal always ready and flexible, and she flawlessly facilitated my case. This was a very difficult time for me--going through my case brought back many memories and much pain. I'm a 59 year-old, former Captain in the United States Marine Corps and have overcome numerous obstacles, and although for Mr. Evans this was a walk in the park, for me it was one of the greatest emotional challenges in my life. Through it all, the Evans Family Law Group never judged me or made me feel like just a number or a dollar sign: rather, they acknowledged my self-worth and dignity and treated me with the utmost respect. Their polished manner is only surpassed by their unlimited compassion,. "Jimmy" is an attorney who sincerely cares far beyond what his duty calls for. Hire this firm.
