I hired Katy Lovett to handle my uncontested divorce. I originally started with another attorney that was not getting anything done. After 4 months of nothing getting done with the previous attorney, I hired Katy. Katy had my divorce finalized within a week. I am so impressed with how she handled my divorce. I would highly recommend her to any one looking for an attorney.

We hired Katy to assist us in a child support modification that was brought on by my husband losing his job and needing to reduce his child support. She was great to work with and got the job done! She always listened to what we had to say and gave unbiased advice. She informed us when she thought it was more cost effective for us to take a different approach. In the end we got the reduction we needed without having to go to court. We appreciate all Katy's help and are very pleased with her services. We hope to never need her in the future, but if we find ourselves battling child support or custody issues again she will be our first call!

Mr Shanks was incredibly kind and well spoken. He made sure I was completely informed on what was going on before making any moves and he actually went above and beyond to cut my fees down even more. I highly recommend him to anyone who may not know where to start, he is very good at explaining everything to you.

If you need a smart, friendly, professional, and approachable lawyer, C. Matthew Shanks is it. Whenever I had a question, he'd get back to me promptly. He kept me updated on my case proceedings. His receptionist, Megan, was always friendly and answered my calls promptly. I don't think any of my calls ever went to voicemail. Payment plan options made it so easy and affordable too and at the end of my case (which was the outcome I wanted) I received money BACK so he is honest too! Highly recommend!!

Let me start off by saying I am not a big fan of Lawyers. A friend of mine suggested I go see Katy when I ran into some family law issues. I can’t begin to tell y’all how happy I am to have found her. She was awesome! In a million years I would have never thought I would have had a good experience with the AG, but she made it happen.
