I hired Hines & Maxwell for a phone consultation on a small claims court case I was filing. They were extremely helpful and generous with their time, giving me multiple good suggestions as I moved forward. Almost a year later, I emailed them again with another question on the same case, and they helped me with that too, with no extra charge, and were very quick to answer. Because of their suggestions and help, I was able to get far more money awarded to me than I initially expected. I would absolutely use them again.

When Becky and I decided to get our affairs in order, we researched lawyers before we chose Willard Burton Baker, Jr for our estate planning. If your like us you dread the thought of doing a will; but our first meeting with Mr. Baker changed our minds. We found him to be very friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and we felt comfortable. There were things discussed that we had never thought of that were needed. He had the "patience of Job" walking us thru the process and answered all of our questions without hesitation. Life will be easier for our kids when all this is needed. Mr. Baker was the right choice for us and we highly recommend him to anyone.

Rude rude rude To reply to your comment Mr. Baker…. you spoke with me on the phone last week regarding my dad’s situation of being in a nursing home and you were annoyed that “we had already been on the phone for 10 minutes” when we spoke about the durable power of attorney . I had called to make an appointment to discuss our options of what to do in our situation and I even offered to pay for your time on the phone. You dismissed my concerns about my father having dementia, even giving your medical options about someone you’ve never met. You were rude and rushed a potential client. You are correct, we’ve never done business together nor will I ever.

Mr Baker represented my family for a very complicated probate case. Prior to coming to Mr Baker we had hit many dead ends with lawyers who just refused to deal with the complicated nature of this case. Mr Baker jumped in and led the charge to a successful probate, for which we are very grateful. I would highly recommend his services.

Burton Baker is an excellent attorney!! My husband and I have retained him for many things. Now that my husband has passed I continue to retain him. He will fight for you till you win. I wouldn’t have any other attorney. Burton is the best.
