Jack Byno is outstanding! He handled everything with my case for a reasonable cost. I would recommend his traffic related services to anyone. If he can help you he will be direct and to the point. I hope I don't need his services again but if I do he will be my first call.

The only thing that surprised and shocked me more than the poor service offered by this attorney is how many others have also been taken advantage of by him. In 2008 I paid him $300 to represent me in Richardson court for minor traffic violations so I wouldn't have to go to jail. He never showed up to represent me nor was I ever offered a refund.

Called on Jack Byno to take care of a speeding ticket I received in a small town. Unable to take off work to get back to the small town in time, Jack Byno office said they could handle the ticket for me. When I asked Michelle, legal assistant about my concerns as to the distance of their office to the small town of Talty, I was assured that they do this all the time and they have several people who go to these towns. I also asked about the bad reviews and Michelle assured me once again that they have great deal of successes and that the bad reviews were only a few unhappy people. I was under the assumption that they would do their best to get the ticket dismissed or work a better deal for me. Once I received the paper work, after payment, it stated they do not go to court and if you wanted that it is another 500.00. I called back to discuss my concerns and I was never returned a call. I got busy and just hoped for the best. I received a notice from Byno stating that I needed to send them ONLY a money order for the full amount of the ticket. After calling three times I finally talked to Cheryl who told me I could call the city directly and give them my information and furthermore, she let me know these small towns never work deals this is how they make money. I asked for a detailed recount of what it is they did for my 75.00? I have never received it. If your ticket is not passed the court due date Don't use Jack Byno do it yourself, it will not save you any money to use him!!

Paid $250 and my punishment was the exact same... when I called about it they hung up on me. USELESS SERVICE, just pay your ticket or go somewhere else.

RUN RUN RUN!!! The receptionist is rude hung up on me twice; they took my money, didn't attempt to fight my ticket at all, wouldn't return my calls; I am reporting this firm to the state board, and to the BBB! WHAT A CROOK!!!!!!!!!!!

Do not hire Jack Byno! I got a speeding ticket in Joshua; for the first time ever I hired an attorney (Jack Byno) to help me with a speeding ticket. Big mistake. For comparison, when I got the ticket I called Joshua City Hall and I would have needed to pay $150 for deferred adjudication. SInce the goal is to keep the ticket off my speeding record, I was ok with deferred adjudication, but thought an attorney could help me in some way beyond even deferred adjudication. I looked into hiring Jack Byno and saw that they wanted $75. I thought I would try them out. They appealed the ticket on 6/12, which is fine; this changed the venue to Johnson County rather than the city of Joshua. Then in July after weeks of no contact I got a letter from the law firm stating I owe $279 for deferred adjudication. I paid it immediately, but was surprised because early on I could have done deferred adjudication myself much, much cheaper. According to the county clerk's office, on 8/4 Mr. Byno appeared in court on my behalf and my deferred adjudication period began. (I did not know that I was definitely on deferred adjudication until now, 8/12, when I called the county clerk.) Thank you for nothing Byno Law Firm. NOTHING. I paid $200 more than I had to for the exact same result I would have gotten had I taken care of the ticket myself. When I called the law firm to ask why my cost was so high and in general what happened with my case, the woman (who did not identify herself when she answered the phone) stated my case was "late" which made it much more expensive. I said IF it was late, it was not a fault on my part. I hired them *right after* the ticket was issued and they have the gall to tell me the ticket was late. That piece of information was never communicated to me via letter, phone or e-mail. They have my address, phone and e-mail; communication from Mr. Byno's staff was so poor that I had to call the courthouse in Johnson County multiple times to find out what was going on. Don't expect this firm to keep you apprised of what is going on. If you need an attorney for a traffic ticket violation, keep looking. I had a terrible experience with my first time to hire an attorney for a traffic ticket. I could have gone to Joshua City Hall and paid the deferred adjudication fee the Monday after I got my ticket but thought an attorney would HELP me.

Sorry but I expect my attorney to fight for my case. I can put up a better fight! HA firing you and going to court myself before it is too late!!! You guys better give me my partial refund you promised!!! Fee is too high for getting NOTHING done. You are better off fighting it yourself.
