Informative,enlightning,and honest.

Doug has helped me tremendously and changed my life. I spent my 20’s in alcohol riddled depression and caught 3 DWI’s in 5 years. I hired Doug for the last one, facing a felony third and a motion to revoke probation for the second all at once. I still wasn’t taking things seriously and failed drug tests. Doug advocated for me, saved me yet again from a motion to revoke felony bond, and worked with the judge to get me therapy. It took over a year to pay him $10k and after fulfilling my obligation to him he had my felony reduced to a misdemeanor. While on probation 18 months later I could not afford to hire him again for a motion to reduce the conditions of probation. I really needed this and went in to get it myself, but I was very anxious. He recognized me in court about to go up Pro-Se and scooped me up Pro-Bono. Motion granted! I’m forever indebted to him and his team. Don’t take this man for granted. He has a tremendous heart, but is very serious and deserves to be taken seriously. Jerk him around and you’ll be leaving a 1 star victim mentality review. Otherwise, stay in honor with him and the court and he will move mountains for you. Thanks for everything Doug and Team!

I had a lengthy and emotional court case that lasted 3 years. I was really running out of hope. After being a victim of a violent assault at the age of 16, my attacker tried to weaponize the legal system against me for speaking out. I had to fly from New York City to Montgomery county every month or so to fight my case. The legal representation my parents found repeatedly told me because of my race I wouldn't receive sympathy and potentially receive the harshest possible punishment. All because I brought attention to my assault on a public platform. I was emotionally broken and at my wits end...calling my family every other day crying. I had one month left and was facing trial. I took the initiative to research the best of the best and I'm so glad I chose Douglas W. Atkinson. They worked to get my case dismissed even at such short notice. I finally feel like I can breathe. I wish I sat down with my parents and hired Douglas W. Atkinson right off the bat instead of running in circles with my previous lawyer. It was worth every penny getting this case dismissed and being able to move on with my life.

It was a long and a tough battle, but Mr. Atkinson and his team came through for me and got the best results I could’ve received! I literally cried happy tears! Great experience, there all really nice, got my case dismissed fast and easy didn’t even have to go before the judge or none like that, walked in to court the first day no lawyer or nothing, mr. Doug came in clutch and helped me out and did what he promised he would and get my case dismissed. Very much recommend
