Being up against the wall and backed into a corner feeling hopeless until this man and his team of professionals were recommended to me by a few acquaintances. All saying, "I'm crazy if I have anyone else represent me!" That they had hired and or someone they knew hired Mr. Doug Atkinson and were very happy with their outcome. I must confess hands down he and his team are the go-to Law Firm around! Mr. Doug Atkinson was able to work with the prosecutor in finding a fair solution and got my case dismissed. Doug is amazing. Any misrepresentations you are willing to provide him with, he will push these misrepresentations onto the judge/court to perpetuate your distorted view of the truth. Doug uses sly tactics to catch the DA's representatives off guard, allowing him to have the first shot at presenting his defense strategy to the court/judge. This strategy enables him to shift the blame/focus off of your crime/guilt in order to vilify your victim(s). As he paints the picture of your victim's faults he is shifting the focus away from the fact that you committed a crime and this will help you get away with it. I highly recommend this talented criminal defense attorney to help you bend the truth and leverage your victims faults to get your charges reduced and to keep you out of jail. For he's a jolly good fellow!

Douglas Atkinson took a very difficult case for me and we both knew I was innocent. I didn’t even have to go before the judge. He handled everything with the DA while I sat in the hallway. He walked out and told me; “You case is dismissed and Merry Christmas. Not only does he care about your case he cares about your life and well being. The best lawyer I’ve ever had. Literally saved my life. Kept me out of jail from probation getting revoked on my DWI case. I had failed several UAs but he still made the courts view me as human that made some mistakes and gave me the chance to correct them before locking me away in a cage. Recommend 100%! 10 stars!!

Are these reviews fake? They have to be because from my personal experience, Doug and his partner was by far the worst lawyer I could’ve had. He never gathered the information needed from me to defend me in court. Every time I had court, he would attempt to inform me of inaccurate information that didn’t pertain to my legal case. I had no criminal history, was a Nurse, was in county jail for 6 months without even getting the bond lowered from $100k. In the end, I lost my nursing license, spent 6 months in county, and ended up with 5 years deferred probation in the worst county in Texas. This theft charge crime didn’t even occur in MOCO, it occurred in Harris county. Doug never asked any details or slightly attempted to provide a defense. He shows up very LATE every court appearance (UNPROFESSIONAL), sits down with the DA smiling, laughing, and then comes to tell you he basically can’t do anything and is at the mercy of the DA. There are other attorneys that are incredibly better in their career field. I will not ever be in trouble criminally again, but if I know anyone that is I will HIGHLY recommend them not to waste their money on this lawyer.
