All I can say about Douglas Atkinson, is wow. Just wow. I was charged with a first degree felony in Conroe, and I was involved in a 7-hour SWAT team standoff. When Doug was hired, he came off as very professional right from the start. He told me on our first meeting that he wanted this charge dismissed. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. Doug went in on my first court date, and asked for dismissal. They didn’t dismiss the charge the first date, but by my second court date, Doug got them to dismiss my case! WOW! I couldn’t believe my ears. This man, Douglas Atkinson, is just outstanding. I mean that in every way I can. From the professionalism, to being there for me every step of the way. He was always informative, straight forward, and made himself available to me at all times. I felt like his only client, although he had many more. That’s how much he cared about my case. If you find yourself in a legal situation, that can have detrimental effects on your life, he is no doubt the man to see. Recommending any other attorney than Doug Atkinson would just be reckless. I owe this man my life, and I mean that quite literally, because my charge carried a possible life sentence! DISMISSED! IF YOU ARE FEELING SICKENING FEAR...READ THIS: I was recently visiting my son from out of state when he was charged with a Class 1 Felony, carrying a possible life sentence! Not knowing anyone in Montgomery County, I turned to the Internet. There I found DOUGLAS ATKINSON. I left a voicemail on Sunday morning, had a return call on Sunday afternoon, and an appointment on Monday. I met with Doug at 5:00 PM, and he was at the jail advising my son by 7:00 PM that evening. Doug managed to have bail reduced to a manageable level and we settled in for the terrifying fight, feeling we were in very capable hands. Doug was determined and totally immersed in my son's case. To make this short, Doug had the CLASS 1 FELONY DISMISSED within 2.5 months. Just like that, our nightmare was over! Doug is compassionate, caring, and tough as nails. He stayed in constant contact with my son. If you have a life changing legal problem, you NEED Doug Atkinson. My family and I will forever be thankful to Doug and his amazing staff. CM

Mr. Atkinson is a superb lawyer. He really does care for his clients and gets the job done. I had a class b misdemeanor of drug possession and he got it dismissed right away no questions asked. This is the man for the job.

Without any hesitation or reservation I can say with confidence that Doug is far and away the best and most effective attorney I have ever hired. I’d go as far to say that it was a pleasure to work with him even given my circumstances. I got arrested for a DUI and sought out every attorney I could, none of which were as quickly responsive and unbelievably tactical as far as how they would handle my case. Doug has a knowledge of this system like I’ve never seen. And he is also, incredibly realistic with his clients. If you’ve sought counsel before, you’ve probably heard your attorney make a lot of vague statements to make you feel good, a lot of pontificating, rarely able to get them on the phone unless you owe them money, and had a result you didn’t hope for.
