Full disclosure: I’m an attorney. But I have no clue about probate law, especially probate law in Texas. I read these same reviews and called Russell Manning to discuss a problem or what I thought was a problem regarding my father‘s estate. His office made an appointment for a phone conversation. He called me exactly when they said he would. I told him the facts And I told him I would be happy to pay him for his consultation time and, if he thought it necessary, for his representation. He said, “You don’t need a lawyer; In fact you don’t need to do anything. The county records office will take care of this for free.” And he was right. They did. As I said, I am a lawyer and when a lawyer tells you NOT to hire him or her because it’s not necessary —- that’s a lawyer to trust! I can’t recommend Russell Manning highly enough.

I am not a person who normally takes time to give a Google Review, but found Russell Manning by researching probate and estate lawyers in this area of Texas, as well as reading Google Reviews about his work as an attorney in the estate and probate fields. He is everything we would have wanted in an attorney: knowledgeable, willing to educate clients on pertinent law, and wise in how things should be properly handled. We entered unsure of what was legally correct in what was, to us, a very confusing group of information; we left knowing exactly what was/was not correct under Texas Law. How encouraging to find an attorney who gives a free consultation, listens and reviews your information, and then tells you it is a very clear cut situation and you do not need an attorney to facilitate what is already in place. I believe him to be honorable, intelligent and to have a mindset that is in the best interest of families who care about each other and want to treat each other fairly. Russell Manning gave me a 30 minute consultation during that consultation He was very informative sincere and patient He was very helpful and honest as to whether or not I needed to hire him he was actually able to solve my issues with good advice without hiring him However any future dealings I will need to deal with Russell Manning will be the one that I will be hiring...
