Chris Simmons is professional, concise, extremely knowledgeable, reasonable, and I could not be happier with how he handled our case. He is IN THE DETAILS and understands the process. His communication with his clients is complete while not taking too much of our time to get where we needed to go. Chris is quality, that's all.

The most impressive thing is how Mike and his team truly are invested in your personal issue and how they walk hand in hand with you throughout the entire process. I truly believe that their clients struggles keep them up at night as they invest entirely in your case. The direct access that I had on a daily basis over an 18 month period with Mike Lyons and Stephen Higdon was simply astonishing. Patient and loving listeners are two great characteristics to describe the people of Lyon & Simmons. The amount of preparation and personal attention that is devoted to your case by them simply cannot be the norm in this industry. Mike Lyons, Stephen Higdon, Melinda Goens, Chris Simmons and Chris Carr have become some of my closest friends in life due in large part to the amount of time each of them spent with my family and I over the last 18 months. Although we knew they have several other wonderful clients, we truly felt at times like we were the only case they had because of the amount time daily that they devoted to us. The Services: Wow. Presentation of Issues: From the presentation of issues, to the constant communications and updates concerning deadlines and protocol, Mike and his team were exemplary. Competent advice and representation: The advice that we received from was always well presented and laid out in a very easy to understand manner all the while still leaving the ultimate decision up to us as a family to make. Deposition and Hearing Preparation: Not all lawyers are created equal and throughout this process, it became glaringly clear that the talent possessed by an attorney during Depositions and Hearings is a clear separator of who is REAL! I personally got to witness Mike Lyons, Stephen Higdon and Chris Carr put on an absolute show during some very crucial depositions. The talent that these men posses is second to NONE! The level of preparation that was invested in preparing for what Mike Lyons calls "GAME DAY" was phenomenal. These men are Litigators.....not settlers and that sets them apart! Cost Effectiveness: The value that we received from this experience that included so much more than legal representation, you cannot put a dollar figure on. We feel like we owe Mike Lyons and his team so much more than we actually paid them. Mike is a crusader who is lead by the values instilled in him by his father who he often referred to throughout our time together. I spent the majority of my time with Mike Lyons and Stephen Higdon and they both embody the the very definition of the highest compliment I personally have always reserved for only special humans. I couldn’t be happier with our experience with Lyons & Simmons. They became apart of our family immediately!! I’ll forever be grateful for the long hours/days/months they put in to help my family!! Our case wasn’t easy and it was extremely devastating. I felt they absorbed some of our pain and fought for us as if this case was happening to them! I will never be able to thank them enough! I was a victim of a Dallas Texas neurosurgery who is currently serving life in prison for killing and maiming his patience in 2011. Mike Lyons took my case when nobody else would prior to the popularity of the podcast titled Dr. Death nobody had really heard of the case. Unfortunately Greg Abbott blocked my federal suit along with others preventing us from gaining more compensation for our injuries. Mike and his team fought for my rights and and went after everybody that was involved. I am left with a condition called adhesive arachnoiditis with paralysis in my left leg with numerous complications the tentacles are far reaching. The amount of money allowed by law in the state of Texas for compensation was minuscule compared to what my doctor bills have been and will be in the future. I highly recommend Lyons and Simmons. Mike is a tiger he will fight for everything you deserve. Take care God bless

It's our first time to use this firm for Eviction case with our tenants. Deans and Lyons charges too high to their clients and does not disclose upfront fees during our first meeting with Attorney Kathleen Kilanowski. We were made to pay a retainer of $1000 for the legal services and she told us that it only cost $300 to make an eviction letter, and if the tenants do not contest the eviction, then we can get back the $700. It took more than a week before she finalized and sent the letter for eviction to our tenants (after she received the amount of $1000). It was not a good service at all! The worst thing was that after we made our tenants moved out the house without resistance and no further legal actions, she charged us to an hourly rate instead of a typical eviction fee of $300. She charged us $305/hr to Analyze Client's contract for deed and another $427.00 for 1.4 hrs to Analyze Texas Laws pertinent to terminating land-lord tenant relationships. These fees were not made known to us during our initial meeting with Atty. Kilanowski, and she did not inform us for charging an hourly fee as we progressed toward the closing of our case. We were just surprised to know that we owed $,1000 (exactly the initial amount we put in) as our legal service fees to her without doing any complicated actions to close the eviction case. We were very unhappy of charging us $1,000 with unsatisfactory service and not disclosing the real legal fees upfront.

Mike Lyons, Wendy Santiago, and others at the firm did an excellent job handling my case against a medical equipment manufacturer. Mr Lyons' experience in this field proved to be extremely valuable. I highly recommend them!
