My case was very complicated and after dodging the police for 3 years I finally decided to contact Mr. Knight! After meeting with Mr. Knight and discussing the case and options carefully, I was able to get the prosecutor to agree to drop the felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle down to a misdemeanor and deferred probation with only 6 months! Mr. Knight was literally a dream come true and was very reachable throughout the entire case! Would definitely recommend!! 5 Stars!!!

Hiring Nelson Knight to help me with my case was quite possibly the best decision I have ever made. Not only was he able to plea my case down from a misdemeanor Class B offense to a misdemeanor Class C offense, was able to negotiate things so well to where both the fine and the community service hours were minimal. This is not something he ever promised nor was it something I ever expected. Just one of the many things Nelson Knight did over and above what he was hired to do. Most importantly, due to Nelson Knight's diligence and "never give up" kind of attitude, I will be eligible to have my offense expunged in 6 months, which if you really think about it, affects my entire life not to mention the impact that this offense could have had to my 22 year career. This incident or what I like to refer to as my “lapse in judgement” on my part, could have easily changed the entire course of my life and negatively affect my ability to ever bring in money to live and help support my family. Nelson Knight understood the magnitude of this and from day one took all the necessary steps to make sure that wasn't going to happen. What led me to reach out to Nelson Knight in the first place were all of the reviews that I found, honestly too many to count. These reviews were were very informative highlighting so many reasons that make Nelson Knight so successful when it comes to representing his client's, more importantly they provided me hope at a time when I needed it most! If I had to choose one thing that set Nelson Knight apart from everyone else, it's that he's not afraid of the word "No." When the prosecutor for my case was unwilling to budge or even compromise at all in regards to my offense, Mr. Nelson did not just accept this and move on. Instead, Nelson marched up to this prosecutor's boss’s office, who Nelson knew had much more authority, and presented my case to him. And guess what? It worked!! A few other things that really stood out to me early on, was the way Nelson would always stop whatever he was doing to take my calls and address my questions or concerns. To my surprise, I learned very quickly that Nelson Knight does not have receptionists or "assistants" that step in from time to time to field calls. From my very first call to his office, it was Nelson Knight that answered the phone. Serious felony cases to minor misdemeanors, I can assure you that Nelson Knight treats everyone and every case with the same level of tenacity, dedication, and hard work! To be perfectly honest, I absolutely dreaded our first meeting, knowing I would have to explain what led me to him and having to explain the details of my situation, but despite my embarrassment and shame I was feeling, Nelson never judged me and treated me with the upmost respect from the very first moment we met. I had met with several attorneys prior to meeting Nelson Knight and none of them offered the creative and strategic ideas that Nelson Night came up. In fact, if it wasn't for these "thinking outside the box" very methodical types of ideas that Nelson strongly suggested I do? I’m quite certain we would not have achieved the outcome we did. My advice for anyone in need of one of the best criminal defense attorneys in Dallas (if not THE best) is to hire Nelson Knight as quickly as possible. Nelson Knight is the only attorney I have met or dealt with that will take the time to listen. And make himself available to his clients at anytime -weekends or weekdays. He will give you all posaible outcomes with no promises. The great thing is he has relatiosnahips with many of the Dallas DA's and he has the uniqie ability to speak to the DA's individually about cases unlike other defense attorney's.  I was originally assigned a Public Defender who had no interest in doing anything with my case except plea it out and move on to his next case. He told me my only option was taking a 2 year probation with a bunch of stipulations that i didnt agree with. At one point this PD straight up lied to me about what was happening. Even trying to get me to sign off on a plea deal but told me it was just a oppurtunity to sit and talk with the probation deparmemt when in fact he was having me sign off on the plea a agreement. When i found out i refused to meet with the ptobation departmentl. A week later they were threatening to issue a warrant for my arrest over what was supposed to be a sit down question and answer session. The public defender was rude and ohnoxsious. Any question I asked he would respond to me as if I was wasting his time. I finally had enough of the public defenders attitude in regards to my questions; questions that were very relevant to my future and whatever plea deal I may have taken. The PD had no interest in anything except for pleading and moving on. I finally had enough and fired this PD. Then the court assigned Nelson Knight. Nelson Knight immediatly jumped into every detail about then case. He made no promises but he did give me possible outcomes. One of which was a dismissal. The first day i met Nelson Knight I have him the details of my cass b and he went to speak to the DS in charge of my case. And 5 minute later Nelson Knight came back and said the DA requested s few documents to prove what I was saying and the Ds dsid she would possibly dismiss the case.  The next week I brought in the documents and Nelson Knight took the documents to the DA who subsequently had my csse dismissed. Nelson Knight was able to have my case dismissed in less than a Month by simply speaking to the DA and explaining the insinuating circumstances. While the original Public Defender was only interested in worKing his clients like a factory line getting them in and out with no regard for their best interest. Nelson Knight b is one of the only attorney I have ever met that b actually cares about his clients and getting the best possible outcome for his clients.  He will Fight for you like none other. He is also always available to talk unlike other attorney's who are impossible to get s holf of  And never return calls.  I have recommended Nelson Knight to at least 10 different v people and in fact I am in the process of hitting him for another case I was recently arrested for-which is very similar to the previous case. This csse is s lot less complicated and I have 1000% confidence that Nelson Knight will be able to the same outcome and get it done as lot faster since I will have him on the case first and not a PD going to push clients through his plea factory.  If you want a lawyer that will listen and get the results you want Nelson Knight is the lawyer for you. He has a great deal of confidence in what he does which is probable the best trait any lawyer can have. Actually believing in their abilities and what they are capable of is very important. I have never met another attorney that carried themselves with the confidence that Nelson knight does. After calling a lawyer I had previously used I called Nelson Knight. After hearing what was going to happen, and what to expect from the other lawyer it left me no hope.
