Mr. Hood exceeded my expectations!!!! I was new to this and afraid and he took his time explaining everything to me and made me feel at ease. I can't thank him enough!! I really appreciate him during this journey of mines.

After being "processed" by a couple of other bankruptcy law firms in the DFW area before I could even talk to an attorney, I found Don Hoods direct email address on his website. About 5:00 AM on a Saturday I sent him an email about our needs, about an hour later Don called me, directly, on a Saturday morning. Who does that? Don took all of the mystery out of our bankruptcy filing and we have not been disappointed with our decision to hire Don for one second. He is a good man who knows his business and treats his clients with respect and with urgency.

After wage reductions due to business slowing down my husband and I found ourselves in a place where we couldn’t continue to pay our bills , we had never missed any payments but we knew it was coming and we’re so embarrassed and unsure if we even qualified for bankruptcy. We were referred to Don and he quickly assured us that we had options and we instantly felt a weight lifted off our shoulders. If you have ever struggled to pay your bills or are dealing with uncertainty that you wont be able to continue paying them you understand the full failure and defeat that takes over. After meeting with Don and going over everything it was abundantly clear we were in the best hands possible. He is super hard working , very knowledgeable, and not one time did this super successful hard working man make us feel less than because of this situation we were in, if anything he assured us that this was a smart move for our current situation and that we can rebuild. He walked us through every bit of the process and made sure we were ready for each step while simultaneously letting us know how to proceed after we’re discharged so that we can rebuild and make our dreams come true of owning our own home in a few years. We did our meeting of the creditors in his office and realized what a gem of a lawyer we had working for us after hearing how other peoples cases went. He got everything rolling so fast for us we filed first week of July and first week of October we got our discharge notice from him. He also allows you to break up your payments which was a huge blessing to us because we didn’t have all the money up front. I can’t recommend him enough he’s great at his job and a great person as well. This man works 7 days a week to ensure his clients have access to him and get the best standard of service! If you need to file call Don Hood! Also shout out to his assistant Oliver who was also incredibly helpful and kind throughout the process!

There are no words that convey the blessing that Don has been. I was served 2 lawsuits really late in the day and he was the only Attorney to pick up the phone. I cannot speak highly enough of my experience with the Law office of Donald E. Hood. Filing bankruptcy is an extremely stressful ordeal, from not knowing what to expect to not knowing what is necessary to even begin the process. Don is both a great person and attorney. Too often after meeting with an attorney one is lead to believe one thing and after the consultation you're left to feel like you actual received less then.
