I'd give Dunham & Jones TEN out of five stars if I could! A series of unfortunate events led me to my first experience in jail in January of this year. I'm in the legal field, so I was so anxious in thinking that this would destroy my career as I knew it. I didn't necessarily have the funds to be able to hire an attorney, but I knew that it needed to be done to get the outcome I was hoping for. I submitted an online inquiry with Dunham in the evening.. maybe 7 or 8 at night and I expected a call the next morning.. no! I got a call within the hour! That quick call alone alleviated so much of my anxiety. Brett discussed a payment plan with me (like, ASKED what I could handle, didn't just tell me what it had to be). He discussed the process with me and I felt so much more at ease. Although my case wasn't even filed with the state for a few months, they called me regularly with an update stating such. When it WAS filed, boom, anxiety was back 😅 My case was assigned to Makayla Maxwell-Stallcup. We set a date for an in-person meeting at their office(s) to discuss the process from there. This meeting was SO much quicker than I thought it would be and again, it was an opportunity for all of my worries and fears to be eliminated. It was like hanging out with a friend. I never felt judged or anything of the sort. And she actually already had good news - she was doing behind the scenes work and got the prosecuting attorney to agree to a Pre-Trial Diversion class. She already had a good idea of how things were going to go, so she gave me a rundown of what to expect. I literally only had to appear in court physically o n c e. One time. Other than that, Makayla appeared for me and I got text message, e-mail, and letter correspondence confirming that. THAT is something I'd have paid for in itself - because I did NOT want to have to miss work for court! The one time I met her there, we signed up for the class. I completed the class and payments about a month after that... and when I tell y'all it was over.. it was over! Literally the SAME DAY I made my final payment to the court, I got an email from Makayla with a signed Dismissal letter. She also let me know how to get it all completely expunged from my record. I knew having an attorney would make it easier, but I had NO idea it was going to be THAT easy. It was seriously only 5-ish months from the time it was filed to to the time my case was OVER. Being arrested is already a huge inconvenience.. my biggest worry was that this situation was going to linger and interfere with my life and job for so long after the fact too, but she made this entire process so smooth for me from there. I KNOW that it could've gone so differently without this law firm in my corner, because I see it happen to people every single day. I hope to never have to need this kind of help again, but if I do.. she's the only one I'll be calling. Thank you guys!

I called his lawyer about a case because it was advertised on his website that he could handle it, and he hung up in my face. Did not give me any recommendation did not hear me out at all I do not recommend this company for professionalism. Not sure if it was the sound of my voice, but there was definitely zero interest in speaking to me.

I would highly recommend Felicia Haynes for representation. She is very intelligent, personable, and devoted. Ms Haynes accepted and managed my case during a time that was difficult for her, due to family responsibilities, but she and her assistants were always focused and made sure that her clients were taken care of.

I recommend Hastings for anybody out there that’s looking for the right medical malpractice. I called around talking to different firms about my potential case and out of all of them the lawyers here treated me the best and they provide free case reviews!!

I would have to agree with the other reviews of rudeness and no compassion. The intake specialist would not listen to what happened medically, actually less than half of the story which involved seven surgeries due to negligence of the doctor. The attorney was not any better, by saying doctors can kill their patients and there is no recourse. Avoid this firm

Want someone to be on your side? This law firm is the wrong one! Was told over the phone that “unfortunately your case is not viable” the proceed to tell me “the lawsuit would be more expensive than the compensation” in other words… they don’t care for your health, they care about $$$$ money. Sad greedy law firm…..
