Very professional and respectful

I wouldn’t recommend this place! When we first went in looking into filing a Chapter 7 we were advised that everything would be good, and giving out circumstances we needed to file as soon as possible. We paid them within two weeks $2,200. Second appointment went fine made sure all our paperwork was in we were good to go! Third appointment we get there and wait 1 1/2 hours and they come tell us the system is down and all the lawyers went home. I get aggravated them all of a sudden they magically find a lawyer to talk to us. She gets our information, says I’ll call you Monday to do the signing. Monday comes I call her now she says we don’t qualify for Chapter 7 we have to do a Chapter 13 which we expressed from day one we were only interested in a Chapter 7. Now, I’m currently trying to see what’s up with my money because they literally worked two days and filed nothing! But of course the systems are down and no one is available for me to talk to.

I'm not a review person. However I had to write this review. I've read some of the reviews and I would have to agree with the clients that have had a not so pleasant experience with Allmand Law firm. Allmand Law firm will promise you the world to get you to hire them. However, They will NOT go that EXTRA mile for there client's. I feel like when your a big law firm like Allmand Law firm, you lose sight of your clients needs,Your just another dollar for them. Also, If your lucky you might get to talk to an attorney and not a paralegal, that's if they call or response back to you at all. So, do your homework and hire a Law firm that will put your first! Because Allmand Law firm talks a good game, they will leave you high and dry! I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND Allmand Law firm to anyone.

After 5 long years and paying out over $80,000 getting my discharge the IRS is coming after me for a balance unpaid which is the reason for filing in the 1st place. For the last 2 months I've been emailing, calling and going to there office and no one will even respond dr back to answer any questions on why and what we need to do. I don't care if it was a dollar, we should have been debt free. They don't care about you after your done and they get their money.

I was sent a letter saying they could help me with the legal or shoot. I took my time to make an appointment and go see them and found out all they do is bankruptcy. Then that was told somebody would talk to me to see if they could actually help me not just put me in bankruptcy, and I waited for a 1/2 an hour nobody bothered to see me. So if you don't need to go bankrupt, I knew value your time, avoid this place

Ms. Kala was very pleasant to speak with. She wasn't judgmental which made me feel at ease to answer all her questions to the best of my ability. She understood that this is a difficult time and decision for me and explained each step in the process and what was needed from me. Worst decision we could have made. Rarely returned email questions. Delayed our confirmation for 10 months for paperwork that was already done multiple times. I never spoke with the same attorney so I had to explain my case numerous times. They took 2500.00 and did absolutely nothing. No confirmation only excuses. We fired them and went with Another firm and were confirmed in a month. We were robbed. Stay away from this place unless you want to get robbed. I thank no that their business model is to collect as many 500.00 down payments as possible and move on without any regard for the families are being crapped on. 0 stars and should be investigated for fraud.
