Carson did a wonderful job of explaining all the legal jargon and answering my inane questions. She was kind and sympathetic to my story, and always took time to ask about my son. She ensured I fully understood every step of the process, and would often check in to see how I was doing. She's a great lawyer and person...a tough combination to find.

I hired Carson Steinbauer to represent me after a close friend referred me. My friend had been through an equally difficult and complicated divorce as mine would turn out to be. My case lasted approximately 2 1/2 years due to shenanigans from the other side. She handled all their courtroom antics with dignity, grace and professionalism. Our assigned judge clearly had a true respect for Carson's knowledge, experience and demeanor. After my ex changed attorneys mid stream, we started over and Carson moved the process along with the utmost concern for my emotional distress and frustration over the delays. I cannot say enough good and positive things about how compassionate, caring and attentive to my case Carson was. She had a true concern for my children as well, doing her best to fight for their rights, and futures. She made me feel like I was her only client, but of course knowing I was not. From 2004 through 2010, Ms. Steinbauer represented me during a very difficult divorce. Dealing with a spouse (the petitioner) who went through 8 attorneys was a nightmare for me. Ms. Steinbauer, however, managed to adapt and adjust to each new "strategy" thrown her way. In a courtroom, which devolved into a circus as the years progressed, Ms. Steinbauer stayed calm, consistent and focused. Her professionalism was impeccable, she was always on time and always prepared. She was a comfort to me and I never doubted her advice. I have two friends who have been represented by her and they both share my very high opinion.

Going through a divorce is a draining and stressful journey in itself. Having Carson as my attorney definitely gave some calmness during the storm. She is extremely well versed and highly educated in family law, and kept me informed during the entire process. She administers great communication and listening skills, and is a master at negotiating. Carson was extremely helpful during my difficult time. As a father of two children, I was concerned I would not get custody of my children. However, Carson's knowledge, experience, and preparation allowed me to relax during the process and in the end I was awarded full custody.
