I should have done more research before choosing this law firm. The only time I get any information is when I contact them. My case worker was changed and I wasn’t even notified until I called to ask what was going on. They are very nonchalant and horrible communicators.

Was recently in a terrible car accident at 7 months pregnant in December 2023 and the guy that hit me admitted to fault along with his insurance. I reached out to Witherite law to represent me and they took my case immediately without question. I noticed days went by and I hadn’t heard from anyone on my case so this gave me doubt. I called and called until I told a representative that I’m unsure about this team representing me especially since I haven’t heard from a case manager (that they said would reach out ) or even my lawyer assigned to case. Finally after several attempts of calling a random representative told me my case manager was a lady named Maria ( no last name) .I also had to keep calling to find this out but I told her I hadn’t been assigned doctors appts etc so she put that into place. By this time I had a weird feeling in my gut because i was doing the calling to find out who my case reps are and what’s doctors I go to on my own by this time. After days and time of never speaking to my lawyer and rarely being able to get in touch with case manager, I asked the witherlaw group to drop my case . I was able to finally talk to Maria and asked if she received the email and she said one lawyer agreed to drop my case but had already sent a representative letter to insurance, which I was unaware of this the whole time . I was honest and told her that communication was never there for me with this team and she seemed offended so I stayed silent to keep from going back and forth. She stated that two lawyers are working on my case. Keep in mind these lawyers never contacted me and I only knew their first name ( John and Chris) that’s it. Chris agreed to drop my case but theirs a catch that I’ll tell you in a few. We were still waiting on second lawyer to respond which took a lot of time and several calls I had to make to confirm but never happened. After me explaining to her I didn’t feel communication was there with this team it went down hill from there. A few days later I received a call from Maria that the lawyers decided to drop my case but keep 33 1/3 % of settlement money if I decide to move forward with another lawyer in future. So this means even if Witherite doesn’t represent my case and does the work to fight my case they still want payout from my settlement which is ridiculous because I will have another lawyer doing all the work while they get paid to do nothing. Keep in mind Maria told me that one lawyer agreed to drop my case but didn’t tell me they would keep a percent of settlement money until I asked another representative a different day then she confirmed the next time we spoke . When Maria called to let me know my case was drop she also seem to defend herself saying communication was always open and I disagreed but didn’t want to argue . I told her witherite law agreeing to drop my case but keeping a percentage of the money that they didn’t help to fight for is ridiculous and she said well I signed the contract. The next week I received my drop case papers and this was the FIRST TIME I knew the lawyers name assigned to my case but still to this day I don’t know second lawyers full name. I want to tell anyone this -be careful before signing with bigger law companies and make sure you’re not just a number and a case to make money . Not knowing the lawyers name that rep you or updates on case process is a hug red flag. They work for you and your case is valuable so remember without you they can’t make money. I’ve since met several people who have had the same experience with witherite. These individuals said they had to hire new lawyers but still had to pay witherite which is crazy Keeping 33 1/3% of someone’s money even if you both agreed to drop case isn’t right so please think and research before signing any papers. I’m due any day now to have my first child and this is what I have to deal with from this company that I thought I could trust.

I really hate that I’m having to write this review because I’ve heard nothing but good things, but my case seems to one of those that’s not to important. I have sent numerous phone calls, emails, text, literally everything but a smoke signal and somebody has yet to return my calls. My car was towed as a result and last I heard from my case manager they would be getting it out and towed to their yard. As of today I don’t knw where my vehicle is I don’t knw what’s going on with anything, all I knw is I’m going to what seems to be a million doctors( who are also trying to contact them in regards to my case), and don’t even know where my case stands… this experience has already cost me a lot but working with this law firm has put even more stress on my shoulders… very disappointed! **** JUST WANTED TO GIVE UPDATE**** I would like to take back my previous post all was just a misunderstanding on my end… Everyone have been working tremendously on my case behind the scenes. I should’ve played into factor that there are more cases they have to work on besides mine and I am truly sorry. They have given me an update and are still fighting for me and making sure I get what I deserve!!! So again I apologize for my previous review (especially to Ms. Kia) she is awesome the whole team is awesome and it was just a lesson to myself to stop,think, and get all my facts before I react.
