Im in Ga needed a problem handled w/ my dads estate in Tx. Maureen was all set to set up a meeting w/ her boss until I asked about the cost & in 1 sec their case load suddenly got to big to help us! Be prepared to have them clean out your pockets! Shady people!!!

Elliot is the rudest attorney...unless you're rich from the beginning. All I got was a consultation where he says "pay me 10k to give you any advice" after listening to an entire story. He ask for money to even give you a direction. He rushed me off the phone when I told him I did not have $10,000 and when he asked if I have any friends to borrower from - I do not. He said he does not have time and went to hung up. I had to ask him to please not hang up can he at least point me towards an attorney that could help me. "Somewhere in East TX - I gotta go." and he hangs up. Very frustrating considering he is obviously dealing with the lost of a human and peoples emotions. Not wise to be in this position and not have some sort of sensitivity or urge to help any and all people.

I do not ever recommend Burdette and Rice or any of their attorneys for hire. I hired them to probate my Dad's Estate and all they did was create and instigate fights with siblings that was more costly than the Estate was worth. Tried, but there is no help from other attorneys or judges. They all protect each other and their billing.

At a particular time in my life, I needed a will made, definitions of power of attorney, and legal help in settling my parent's estate. This required listening and understanding through a series of complex issues and circumstances. Mr. Burdette accomplished this despite my amateurish presentation and got to the heart of the matter. Now that the first part of my concerns has been finalized, I look forward to working with him to finish the rest of my legal issues. Mr. Elliott Burdette and his staff were more than professional, and I want to thank them for their helpful attitude, both legal and personal.

Probate is when there is a dispute as over a will or something like that. If a loved one passes away without a will, you end up in Probate. Or, if the persons inheriting the assets have a dispute. By being represented you are able to advance your interests.
