I had gotten myself into some trouble at the beginning of the year. I was scared so I hired the Law offices of Tim Powers. He watched the footage and talked to the DA. After a few agreed upon classes of anger management, they had my charges dropped. They were professional and kept me up to date through it all. I'd hire them again.

I WISH I KNEW THEN WHAT I KNOW NOW What this guy doesnt understand is when you hire his services... he and hus staff works for you! What a rip off this guy was! First off he “double billed” me for 2 attorneys being in the same room for my consultation! Even insulted me by cussing at me and calling me names!! So unproffessional! I decided to hire him cas the price was decent. Wait for it....Until he and his attorneys WOULD NOT NOTIFY ME OF MY COURT DATES! He told me that i was the first person to ask when my court dates were in all if his 30 yrs experience! REALLY??? Even if im not “required” to show up for the first procedings, as they were just a matter of formality! I would hav liked to hav known when my court dates were as i am the one that is ultimatley responsible! But ol Timmy and his just out of college side kick Haley wouldnt inform me of my dates and got into several arguements sbout it, ol Timmy decided he doesnt want to be my attorney and files a Motion to Discontinue. BUT HERES THE KICKER...thats not a reason to file a motion to not be ny attorney and if i would hav known that at the time i would hav showed up for the hearimg in court snd told the judge why he was filing and forced this guy to continue to be my attorney! So be very aware of this man and if anyone has probs with him, just call the Texas Bar Asc and explain it to them and force your attorney to do his job. He also told me i would be getting a “REFUND” for most of my money back! I had given up about $5k in retainers they show up for 1 court date snd then bill me for $600 more dollars! What a rip off this guy was and so much BS it what i call legal stealing! And taking advantage od someones situation! Be aware and stay away from this firm I also noticed his responses to his bad reviews are just basically prewrritten statements as the say almost the exact thing “no comment”. Whst a joke!

Tim Powers and Staff took very good care of me after my DUI. My first time ever to be arrested or in trouble with the law. They made the process easy and explained everything to me. I was very happy with my decision to have Tim Power represent me.
