I am not the type of person that leaves many reviews unless I am completely satisfied or disappointed. In this case, I am 100% satisfied with this law firm. I want to share my experience with this law firm so that this review is helpful to those who are seeking an attorney for help. I was going through such a rough time in my life April 2023 when I consulted with Joy Degenhart. My ex-husband had filed for a divorce months before I found Joy. I was not about to spend so much money on an attorney so I went ahead and proceeded myself. A divorce is always a messy situation especially with a child involved. I was in distress April of 2023 & I ended up hiring Ms. Degenhart after our consultation. She did not sugar coat anything. She gave me the blunt truth about situations. She did not sell me dreams. She was VERY knowledgeable about laws and possible outcomes. Aside from being a highly intelligent woman, she was such a sweetheart. Though her services are expensive, she understood my financial situation and helped me with arrangements. In the end, you get what you pay for. I had so much peace of mind with her as my attorney. Things changed for me in Texas & I moved to California where I am originally from. I moved that same month I hired Ms. Degenhart. I came to California & began to pick up the pieces of my life again. From April of 2023 to December 2023 Ms. Degenhart & her entire law firm team had the BEST communication. I rarely called the law firm because Leticia, Jackie, & others were so good about calling me and keeping me up to date on my case. Ms. Degenhart was good about returning my e-mails or phone calls with any questions or concerns that I had. I won’t spoil or give away her tactics while she’s fighting for you in court but WOW! I can honestly say, I have never been so impressed with an individual being SO resourceful, intelligent, and a fighter. She represented me as if she was representing herself through a battle. There are not enough words to express how truly grateful I am. I have full custody & the year that went by where I was so busy with life in California was a breeze with Ms. Degenhart doing all the work for me. Joy Degenhart is unprofessional, unempathic, and a very rude woman. Overcharges and horrible at customer service, find a job you're actually good at lol
