Mr. Ortiz and his staff helped me with my custody case from the very first time I called for a consult he called out everything that was wrong with my x’s request. My ex was fighting for full custody and geographical restriction, as a military spouse this was very nerve wrecking. My x had “top dog” lawyer the guy was so sure they would win little did they know Mr. Ortiz was a pit Bull in court!! He argued for me to be heard our time and a fair trial! He debunked them the entire time. WE WON! After the first court they decided to send us a mediation. I am so happy I chose Mr. Ortiz to represent me. His staff always answered my calls and answered my questions and anytime I needed a call back he called back within 24 hours.

I hired Mr. Ortiz after making a big and honest mistake. He made the process very simple and I was able to put everything in his capable hands! He reassured me when I needed it and was honest about my situation! I have 0 knowledge or know-how when it comes to the law and my defence but he made me feel confident! And most importantly, he got the job done! My case has been dismissed! I am now a normal law-abiding citizen again :) I would recommend Mr. Ortiz!

My first impression of Mr. Ortiz is that he is a wonderful, caring, generous person who will treat you like family UNTIL your case becomes difficult and demanding. As soon as my case required more time and effort, Mr. Ortiz abandoned me by saying he did his research and asked around court for the best divorce attorney and "highly recommended" that I hire this new attorney to replace him. I looked up His recommendation and saw how horrible her client's experiences were. I brought up the reviews to Mr. Ortiz and he repeatedly assured me that those weren't accurate. I trusted him with my life and to have my best interest. As a result, I hired this new attorney who has been the worst attorney one could imagine! She is always unprepared, cold, rude, only cares about money, wiped out my account, and is the worst recommendation that Mr. Ortiz ever gave me. Who knows, Mr. Ortiz may have deals set up with other attorneys for transferring cases he feels are too challenging for him. I even tried contacting him several times asking for help and expressing my disappointment in him and his recommendation, but nothing was done. My opinion of Mr. Ortiz is now 100% tainted so please be careful because if he is hired as your attorney and he feels the judge is not in his favor, he will try to transfer or "recommend" your case to another attorney who will destroy you and your finances. An attorney who is confident in his ability and cares about your livelihood would never convince you to hire someone else after you've spent months with him and your case. Please be careful if you have a case that requires more attention because Mr. Ortiz is too busy to invest his time and after 3-4 months, you will be transferred and starting over. Trust me, you will end up losing everything before you even arrive at a final hearing.
