This is a follow up to an initial review on Varghese Summerset. As stated in the original review, a family member found themselves in need of legal representation last year while traveling thru Texas. They reached out to me and I began looking for a law firm to represent them! After hours of research online and phone calls, I was pleased to find Mr. Steve Baker, with Varghese Summerset. He didn’t hesitate to take the case and we knew that with his background and the reputation of him and his law firm we were in good hands. Now that the case has been resolved, I just wanted to take a quick minute and follow up on the initial review, which was very positive and I can say that nothing about it has changed except that we can offer our experience from start to finish and say without hesitation that if you find yourself in the unfortunate position of needing legal representation in the Dallas area, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Steve Baker and his law firm. If you find yourself in trouble criminally and need a criminal defense attorney I highly recommend you call Chrisy Jack.TRUST ME: Christy Jack with Varghese and Summerset knows her stuff. A friend of mine found himself in trouble with Johnson County Probation. The accusation was he violated probation by failing a drug test and had not attended the hope program. The DA was hell bent on 6 months of safe p and 3 months in a halfway house afterwards. We hired Christy Jack and she went to work immediately. She filed for discovery and set a hearing. At the hearing Johnson County conveniently left out or accidentally overlooked documents they had in their possession. Once Christy questioned this the prosecutor objected and said that information did not have to be provided. Cristy and her legal expert seated immediately behind her pulled up case law showing where it was required to be admissible and should have been turned over in discovery. The Judge agreed and reset the hearing to a later date so the prosecution could provide the defense with the documents they overlooked or conveniently left out. A month later at the new hearing the prosecution still refused to back off of 6 months safe p and 3 months in a half way house. We proceeded with a hearing. At the end of the hearing the judge ruled that my friend would have to do 30 nights in Johnson county jail and get enrolled in the hope program . My friend checks in at 10pm and is released at 6am the next morning. This has enabled him to continue working and do his punishment at the same time. IF IT WAS NOT FOR CHRISTY JAKE AND HER LEGAL TEAM MY FRIEND WOULD HAVE BEEN RAILROADED BY JOHNSON COUNTY DA AND HIS HINCHMEN. If you find yourself in trouble in Johnson County I would highly recommend you give Christy a call. She also works in Tarrant County and several other near by counties.

I felt very hopeless before I was referred to Varghese Summersett. I wish i could say each step since has been easy, but its not supposed to be. Prior, I didn't know what was going on until Steve and his team took the time to explain things to me, which my previous attorney did not do. They have been very informative and been there to answer any questions I have had on this path.

My wife leaving our home and then filing for divorce was the hardest thing I have ever gone though. My belief system says divorce isn’t an option, however when the other party refuses to work toward reconciliation, one is left with few options.
