I can’t give zero stars….I was extremely disappointed with my consultation with Stephanie Sabelhaus. The consultation fee was $350 for an hour. I paid it expecting to get excellent service considering it was so high. But all I got was a lazy attorney that didn’t want to put much effort into my case. I am a father seeking full custody of my young daughter. While speaking with Stephanie I told her I wanted to seek primary custody and also stated as a father I knew it would be difficult. She blatantly told me no. I again said I knew it would be hard but I wanted to try. Again she dismissed me. I continued to ask her other questions regarding the details of my situation and she was still very dismissive, answering each question with “yea, no” or “yea probably no”. No real answers at all. After about 30mins I ended the phone call even though I had paid for an hour of her time. I feel robbed. I found another attorney that agreed it would be difficult for a father to get primary custody but if that’s what I wanted, we could try. Amazing, I mean isn’t that what your attorney is supposed to do, work for you since you are the one paying them. Speaking of paying them since my phone consultation with Stephanie I get an email every other day reminding me to pay her retainer fee ?!? No email asking if I was satisfied with my consultation and would like to move forward. It seems like this law firm just wants to take your money and make the case load as easy for them as possible. Don’t waste your time with Varghese Summersett, find an attorney that with fight for you!
