The firm, especially Ms. Summersett, was excellent in handling my case. They were very professional and took my feelings into consideration. I thank them very much for the hard work that they did on my behalf to minimize my fines and get deferred adjudication on my fraudulent destruction, removal, or concealment of writing charge.

I had gotten into some trouble a couple of months back and my charges were nothing minor. With some research online, I happened to run across Ms. Summersett’s web page and set a meeting up with her. She was very informative over the phone, but I still wanted to meet her in person. After meeting with a few more lawyers, I decided to go with Ms. Summersett. She was the most detailed, informative, knowledgeable, and experienced with the type of charges that were pending against me. All in all, I went from having an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, tampering with evidence, and evading arrest charge – to a dismissal. When I say Ms. Summersett was knowledgeable, that is an understatement. In a total of three months, she and her team had two of the three charges dropped and dismissed, and I had accepted a plea and kept the evading charge with only 10 days of labor detail. I cannot express how amazing she was and is. If ever need be, I will have her as my attorney always. You could not go wrong by having her as your attorney. The staff at varghese has been very helpful and has fought very hard for me. The d.a. was trying to charge me with attempted murder but with the help of Steve jumes and Rajeev Sunkara I was able to get it reduced to misdemeanor assault with minimal probation time. My experience with Mrs. Anna Summersett was extraordinary. I was charged with fraudulent destruction, removal, or concealment of writing and Ms. Summersett was able to get the charge dismissed. Miss Christy Jack in my opinion went above and beyond the norm as a defense attorney in making sure that I was aware and fully understood my options regarding my case. I retained Benson for a felony assault family violence charge. As someone who has never been in any serious trouble before the process was very confusing and nerve wracking. Here are the names of people who will fight on your behalf as if it is their own case or their relative: BENSON VARGHESE ANNA SUMMERSETT CHRISTY JACK LETICIA MARTINEZ STEVE JUMES RAJEEV SUNKARA ALEX BOYD To make the story short, My cousin was charged with 2 Intoxication Manslaughter, cases, and 6 Intoxication assault. He went to a graduation party after work and after the party his 8 friends asked him to give them a ride back home. He crashed into a curb and the rest you can imagine. The prosecutors were calculating about 90 years with all charges added together. we hired an attorney and gave $5k for doing nothing. i don't think she even reviewed our case. every time he was scheduled for court she would postpone. after 6 months, she started to refusing our telephone calls and texts. she then said she was taking a vacation to Italy when our cousin was for a court in about couple of weeks. at that time, we decided to find another attorney. During our search, I must have called like 15 law firm in Dallas area. remember all of our live in Illinois. The law firms I spoke to were starting at prices of 30k just to review the case and then onward every time they go to court you have to do give another 15 to 20k. Being immigrant refugees, those prices were out of our reach so we kept on calling. When I spoke to Mr. Varghese of this firm, oooh my God we connected. He didn't promise miracles like many do then after they take your money they disappear. He told me that they I should come down to Dallas and we talk. In my mind, I was convinced that these were the people to work on our case because they weren't pushy or bossy about their job. When another cousin and I got to Forth worth at their office, Mr. Varghese and Steve sat us down in a very welcoming manner a nice oval table. they had reviewed the case and we hadn't even give them the money. they told us of different options we faced. they were not money hungry like many law firms. we decided to work with them because they presented dignity in their characters which is a backbone to trustworthiness. Although I will not go into financial details, but I can not emphasize enough that considering the amount work they invested in our case, they gave a very big big deal. this law firm is made of people who have kindness in their heart and many times, in our society that is seem as a weakness so do not mistaken. because of the nature of the case, it was a jury trial. for a trial that took 2 weeks from 8am to 5pm our lawyers had done their homework on the case preparation. they met or spoke on the phone with at least 100 potential witnesses. Although not everyone was able to speak during the trial, you can imagine how this law firm works. at some point we thought these people were our family members that we didn't know of sort of like Joseph in the bible how he was helping his family in Egypt during drought times. by the end of the trial 11 jury were on our behalf and 1 was on prosecution side. the prosecutor wanted 20 years for each person that died and 8+ for each intoxication Assault. the prosecution also wanted to charge that the car was used as a deadly weapon but because our lawyers were able to prove that this was an accident not a planned event, all the 12 jury agreed that he should be charged with deadly weapon. the prosecutors team wanted and was willing to repeat as many jury trial until he gets what he wanted. Although our lawyers were willing to go to as many trials, the prosecutor offered a plea 10 years with deadly and our lawyers counsel, we decided not take the offer. because they had the prosecutor cornered, he came up with a final guilty offer of 5 years without the deadly weapon charge. we took this offer because it had already been 2 and years after the incident and we didn't know what was going to be the outcome of the next jury trial. Here we are and have hope that we will see our cousin again outside of the jail cell.

I originally sought Anna for my husbands case which was a very trying time for us. Unfortunately I also had to hire her for myself. I was originally charged with Felony Theft of property, being that this was my third conviction of theft. Thanks to Anna Summersett, it was brought down from a Felony to a Deferred misdemeanor Pro Forma. Which means I will be placed on probation for 6 months and do not have to report or pay probation fees at all. If I do not commit another offense within 6 months of the probation period, my case will be dismissed. I am extremely happy with the outcome.
