When I first went looking for a lawyer it was due to a custody battle. This was a few years after my divorce. My ex-wife was looking to move to a different state, but instead of talking to me about this transition she served me with papers to revoke all parental rights. So I went looking for the best representation I could find to advocate for a father's rights. It didn't take long for Cordell and Cordell to pop up in my searches, and they coined themselves as a law firm for fathers (not to say that they don't advocate for mothers as well). After an initial consultation I was assigned to a lawyer by the name of Lelan Kirk, and he was a true God-send in my time of need. From the start, Lelan tried to get me to see that the situation that I was in was going to take some time and not to let my emotions fuel my worry and fear. He truly was fighting for me and trying to calm me in this situation. On a personal note, an emotional frame of mind costs twice as much as a calm & trusting frame of mind, and all that paperwork you've been served doesn't mean the end of the world until it's signed and filed with the courts. As long as you trust in the people you've hired, things aren't going to be as bad as you think they will. Lelan and his team made sure to communicate as efficiently as possible to reduce cost for me over the duration of this process. In the end my ex-wife and I were able to reach a winning resolution that would benefit my son. In closing I highly recommend Cordell and Cordell and Lelan Kirk to anyone going through a divorce or custody battle.

I was reluctant to hire an attorney and go through a similar process again. I didn’t have very good representation before with my previous attorney. When I called Cordell & Cordell and spoke with Lelan I was immediately put at ease. He was very open, always had a plan and is always there to answer my questions. It was very emotional and stressful at times for me, but Lelan calmed my nerves. He helped me believe I had a chance to come out on the other side happy and more confident. Tiffany McWhorter. By far the best Divorce attorney known to mankind. Off the charts smart. I know Cordell & Cordell concentrate their business for the man's side of a divorce, but I would recommend Tiffany McWhorter to anybody. Her representation far outweighed the cost. Katie and Dan are the absolute best. This law firm makes you feel like family literally. One of the best company's I have worked for, and watching how they both interactive with the clients is amazing. If you look below, that was the Google review three days into my relationship with this law firm. I was asked to do this by my attorney and at the time I was happy to do it! Let's just say...With the approach and follow through this law firm offers their clients, I see why doing Google reviews day three instead of at the end (Nothing to do with Winning or loosing, nothing is guaranteed) of the case is vital to their "Reputation". Oh..And if you have an issue other than billing, good luck getting someone interested enough to call you, and when they finally do...6 months later..You can tell it's someone trained not to resolve issues but to bull dog you! And to argue. Just awful. On the bright side, it was the only time I ever saw somone follow through and actually get passionate! To bad I only saw that side when again, they were trying to collect money for something they didn't do. More details to follow! And no worries my attorney no longer works there. I was referred to Kamryn Caldwell by a friend of mine and I have not been disappointed! Kamryn has done a great job of listening and has given me very good counsel. She is very passionate on fathers rights, but respectful on how she goes about it.

I was a recently transitioned veteran and a student when I started my divorce with a different law firm, after a very bad temporary orders hearing I switched over to Cordell & Cordell. Here Kamryn Caldwell picked up my case, the difference was night and day, immediately. Divorce isn't an easy thing to endure for anyone. But I contribute a huge portion of how my life is currently, feeling hopeful, is due having Ms. Caldwell and this firm with me throughout the duration of this incredibly stressful time. She told me more times than I can count "It's a marathon not a sprint." We paced ourselves and got what we wanted in the end.
